I know you have not seen any dose's posted since Sunday, very sorry for
this. I attempted to write one today, but had trouble. As some of you may
know, I am again, having issues at work. I am not able to write about them
right now or may not ever be able to public create a KDD about the stress I
am under lately.
In addition to my work stress, some of you may know from chatting with
me as well as reading the blog, that Darrell's Sister has had lung cancer.
Well, a few hours ago she passed away. Darrell and I knew she was not
doing well when we saw her 9 days ago, but Everyone else was saying she
was improving. I am sure it was all wishful thinking. We could tell by
the sound of her voice and by her behavior. This is all very sad. We both
are very glad we saw her twice in the last two months, the last time
being Tuesday November 20 th, when we all Celebrated Thanksgiving. We are
not doing very well right now and both have had a most stressful and
difficult week.
We don't know when the funeral will be. We will find out more in the
morning. It may be a little while before I will be able to post KDd's to my
blog. My Apologies for this. Until then, do take care and stay well.
Its still Sunday afternoon, at 3 35,
Listening to ACB Radio Live,
On The air is Radio Rick,
And Darrell is still feeling sick.
An hour ago, we called my sister Mary Beth, MB,
It's been awhile since her and her husband,Todd have heard from me,
From Us,
And we mostly chatted about taking the Polar Express, not a bus.
First, we will fly into Boston, Logan Airport, on December 20; arrive at 11
o'clock at night,
It will be 4.36 hours, the flight,
For some reason 6, not calculating the time difference, when coming back,
On Sunday, will see my Folks, Mom & Dad, Jo Anne and Jack.
Friday, the 21 st during the day,
I think, At Tara and Bob's home in Wayland Mass, will stay,
Not go anywhere, just lollygag, just relax, and hang around,
Hope there will be snow on the ground.
Darrell would love several feet of snow,
And on Christmas Eve we will do our show,
Our Christmas Eve Special from MB & Todd's, they have wireless DSL so, will
broadcast there,
So, guess, the Christmas Party we will miss this year, would love to be
there,
Too, but, can't be at two locations at once if, we could "Fold" we could?
Lol
And, hope, we have a fabulous fire, in the fireplace, gather wood?
What is folding it really doesn't exist, not at all possible , a
Teleporting term used in the Dean Koontz novel "By the light of the Moon
" I red , where one can be transported from place to place within seconds,
it would be great,
Because, I could be here for the Holiday's and then visit, out of state,
That same day,
It would not take hours, and months and years before, Family and friends
for us to get together,
It will be easy to travel in any kinds of weather,
In a way, yet, can only travel with the clothes on your back,
Fell off the wagon got off track,
Sorry for that, for this,
As said, we are looking forward to Christmas,
It has been 2 years since; I really spent any quality time with my family,
So, it will be very nice you see.
Friday night, in Boston we will listen to Christmas Caroler's
Not go out to eat at Fers ,
But, will go to lunch probably earlier in the day that would be cool.
On that day, the kids Bobby, Jo Anna and Katie,at noon will get out of
school,
For their Christmas vacation my 2 Niece's and Nephew,
Not sure, what else we will do?
Not a clue,
Maybe, the Museum of Science? A Movie?
It doesn't matter much to me,
What is most important is visiting you see,
Not necessarily touring the City seeing the attractions, the sights,
And we will be there in New England for 7 nights,
And 7 days,
Not sure, if we will see any plays?
Chatted about going to the Beach, the ocean, Cape Cod,
But, it's too cold, so we will also, visit with Mary Beth and Todd.
And my Parent's as well, want to hang out with everyone between the 3
houses,
Will bring Jackets, sweaters, hat and mittens,not bathing suits and blouses.
As stated above, we will hopefully take the Polar express, sounds like fun,
Yet, not sure, if that will be able to be done?
When, spoke to MB and Todd Today,
They did say,
They were told if I bring Dougie, that, I could be denied,
That Douglas, could not take the ride,
This is illegal as some of you know,
And I do hope we can go.
He could, stay at my Folks, Grandma and Grandpa's, but why should he?
This is not how it should be?
He is my eyes, my guide,
So, should be able to come a long for the ride,
Not sure what the safety issues are? the public on blindness issues we have
to often educate,
Some, this issue, they would debate.
Even if I were leaving Dougie and leaving him behind,
This is not very kind,
He is my mobility aid and my friend,
On this issue, we will not easily bend,
It is the law! he should and can travel with me
Unless, there is a safety issue, for us, for me,
And the rest of the customers, if need to, will contact the Seeing Eye
And now, we are listening to Jeff,not on ACB R I,
Yet, on one of the test Servers helping him test,
And today we are getting some rest.
The other day, Jeff's Computer hard it did crash,
And unfortunately, the Christmas Party we will miss, what a fun bash.
Mary Beth will call tomorrow a phone call or two, she will make,
Hope the polar express we will be able to take,
Sounds like we all will have a blast,
Yet, I know, it will go way too fast,
And back in the state of Arizona we will be,
Returning to work and ringing in a new year,
And another fly's by, as I sit here
.
Its now, after 5, and going to go,
Want to spend time with Darrell and Dougie you know
Take good care, don't get sick, a colder the flu,
And later in the week, I will compose another dose for all of you.

It's 1976, the year she is featuring this time,
Hope all is well? that all are better then fine? J Lol
That was a pretty good year for me, I was 12 and this time of year, I had
begun the 7 th grade,
Learned to skateboard and ice-skate, no such thing as rollerblades
Back then,
We lived in Oakville Ontario Canada that was when.
Did not have many friends at all but, was a crossing guard
And received an award for working hard,
Learned how to downhill ski that year too, it wasn't an easy thing to do,
With partial sight,
But, somehow, managed not to break a bone, all was alright.
I just skied straight,
Headed for the "white", in between the rope tow gate,
And if I saw something that wasn't white, I leaned the other way,
And now, totally blind, don't like downhill today.
But, do like cross country skiing instead,
And Nancy Drew, the Hardy Boys and Harlequin Romances I red.
I enjoyed riding my bike and basketball,
But not at all shopping at the mall,
Not like most pre-teens but, did love to letter write,
And for an American, I was tall, had height,
For the first time in my school photos, I did stand,
And was an Alto, in the Choir, not in the marching Band.
I did try and learn to play the flute
And we had lots of snow, had warm moccasin boots.
my favorite class was Language Arts,
And, I don't remember, many songs on the charts,
Did not like the music much there, not the same, as it was in the U S A
Really was happy when we moved away.
Today, is my condensed weekend,
So, this message I am trying to send,
To you my friends.
Work for 3 days,
And think Darrell is lying down in the bedroom in a daze,
Listening to Kim only a few more minutes, she will be on the air,
And time with Darrell I want to share.
He has a bad cold,
And not many rooms, at the hotel, this week will be sold,
Think Darrell's cold is getting worse, the Doctor, he may have to go,
And tomorrow, Jeff, you, may be doing our show?
Someone will cover for us, in the Café?
And I placed aSafeway order for delivery for tomorrow, not today.
My Sister Tara called this morning a little before 9,
And we discussed plans, The Science Museum? The Christmas Eve Party?,
somewhere to dine?
Soon, going to reach my other Sister, Mary Beth, speak to her not online,
But on the phone, and discuss the plans, what we will do,
And soon, this KDD will be through.
We will take a train, "the Polar Express" on the 23 rd , not Christmas Eve,
Want to visit with my little Niece's Emma and Marin but also see my Parents
before we leave,
Want to divide our time, between all Family, everyone,
Looking forward to our Christmas Vacation in a month, it will be fun.
And maybe, also on December 15, Jeff, Keri, Darrell and me,
Will go see Mannheim Steamroller, that Saturday night, coming here to
Glendale,
Not Tempe, Phoenix or Scottsdale,
We love their music, for Christmas, they are one of the best,
Soon, going to go, chat with family, and catch up on some rest,

some were there,telling jokes?

Some, had to work today, like Darrell and me,
Yet, Grateful, to have a job, you see,
And after all, we did celebrate with family the other day,
But, had to work, many Guests to stay.
Some in town for the holiday,
While, most here for the Big Game, that was underway,
Tonight at 6 o'clock,
Just a mile from us, around the block.
It was the game between ASU and USC,
Don't know the score, don't think it's over, don't care, what, it will be,
Just know, it wil effect business at Hyatt,
The lobby and Bar wil not be quiet,
It will be a hopping place, players and fans drinking carrying on,
And I have to get up before dawn.
Also, Recreation was quite busy indeed,
After, the Restaurants, our guests, they do feed,
Recreation had a petting zoo,
And brought someone, a vender for a Family fun Sing a long, to do
Tonight , on our beach, had a bonfire,
Not sure, the company, they had to entertain the kids, who they did hire,
They sung songs and made smores, earlier in the day made crafts,
Am sure, others on property had their own fun, lots of laughs.
They made cornhusk dolls and other things,
Not sure, if they read stories? Or played on the swings?
The Petting Zoo was a big hit,
And all the fireplaces on property are lit,
Twice a day
And soon, I should, get on my way.
They had a pony, elephant, bunnies, chicks and goats no sheep,
Soon, I must get to sleep.
How cute, is that, having the zoo? The kids can feed the animals? I
remember, going to the Animal Farm in Maine, was afraid to get close, until
I was 8
And now, it's getting late,
Going on 9,
If, I want to feel good, more then just fine,
Should end this? Okay?

Thanksgiving is that time of year,
when glasses are lifted to toast with good cheer.
As autumn leaves fall softly to the ground,
we take a moment to reflect on all the blessings we've found.
So happy for this season and a reason to recall,
that it's the little things in life that mean the most of all.
For my children I give a prayer of praise,
for all the joyful memories of happy, hopeful days.
A husband who makes my life worthwhile,
who never ceases to make me smile.
I'm thankful for this time of year when leaves crunch under our feet,
for all the friends I have yet to meet.
Thank you Lord for providing me with an abundant life,
of being a mother, friend, sister and wife.
This is such a beautiful time of year,
filled with family and friends who are always near.
Turkey day dawns with more than enough to eat drink and be merry,
filled with all the love and happiness our grateful hearts can carry.
On this day we'll gather round the table,
and feast on big meals while our men watch football on cable.
We'll prepare a meal of turkey and dressing,
while we give thanks to God for his unending blessing.
And whether we express it vocally or not,
most of all we'll give thanks for all that we've got.
Peace to you this Thanksgiving day,

Wednesday I return to work at the Hotel.
We all need to reflect on what we are grateful for, give thanks, time, we
need to take,
For Family and friends, with each other,

However, hope it's with some family, or at least a good friend or two?

Some in are regular format and some Christmas stuff Beach boys, Carpenters
and Manheim,
We did not have tea with lemon or lime,
Not any tea at all but coffee we were starting to drag,
And Dougie, often and fiercely his tail does wag,
And when he wakes he sneezes, stretch's and does yawn
And Jeff, hope you will be able to get some sleep before Dawn?
We have a long weekend ahead, another, book I will not read,
And Dougie, most of the time, does like to lead,
Very willing and eager,
And tonight, we did not play any Bob Seager
Eagles, Brian Adams and the Police,
And when, in New England, will be wearing sweaters, maybe, fleece,
One thing, I found out the other day, The Family Christmas Party will be
on Sunday December nine, Employees children, many there will be,
And the Awards Banquet and employee Party will be on December 17, Darrell
will be there with me,
On that night,
And 3 days later, we will take our flight,
And head home, never look forward to the trip long, crowded and, strangers
sitting too close by,
And right now, not listening to ACB R I,
But, KEZ 99.9, Christmas all the time now, yesterday morning, it began,
And this morning, errands I ran.
I had picked up some groceries, mostly stuff for a sweet potato recipe,
That I will make for Tuesday, you see,

She asked for forgiveness, for ever upsetting and hurting us, never thought

For me, I forgave her a long time ago.
Michelle's son Frank and children are coming down next weekend,
So time together, we all will spend,
Yet, it's sad, for Michelle, this will be her last Thanksgiving, Holiday
Season,
Sometimes, I don't understand the reason,
Why, the good dye young? Why does it have to be?

And we have an Apartment to clean, one, that is dirty,
But,its not too bad,
And a long Conversation, Darrell and Mom had.
First, she called, because she made and purchased our flight Reservations,
This, we much, do appreciate,
Though, those two, got into a debate,
And I did some, let those two, do most of the talking, long they did chat,
In his office chair,Darrell, for two hours sat,
Discussing accessability and what more, should and could be done,
How the two major consumer blindness organizations are run,
What they don't do,
And what, we can do too,
To improve our cause,
At times, I had to pause,
Found myself, becoming exhasperated,
And, they, still on the phone debated,
Expressed their view about business and politics,
Darrell says, pretty well, the conversation did go,
And I was listening to Radio Rick's show,
But, then, turned on the XM Radio,
However, I perceived it to be intense, and this type of discussion we
often do have , when we discuss our jobs, and the struggles we have as
blind people, as a couple and a community,
We try to help them to understand, to see,
What we go through,
And , they, express, their point of view,
As someone who has sight,
Noone person,is totally right,
And guess, we will never fully comprehend, see eye to eye?
These issues are large in size,
And there are many, overwhelming, it can be,
So much more ,we can do, Both The NFB and ACB.
Darrell,is a hard core advocate, but, a few, cannot do it all,, there
will still be obstacles in our path,in our way,
Its should be all, everyone,working towards, the same goal each day,
We all have to work together, if more will get done,
Before we truly have won,
Life has improved for the better, an Technology is progressing at an
usually fast pace,
We need to stayin the race,
And compete with the sighted, Challenging it is indeed,
Assistance, from Everyone, we do need,
From not just the blind but the sighted as well,
Its not just about, cool accessable products to sell,
That will enhance our lives every day,
The issues are not clear, its gray,
Not black and white,
And here, this is why I write.
Its, about having independence and being able to contribute in the world
today,
To be able to work and play,
Just like the rest.
Without having to worry, whether we will be let go, unemployed struggling to
pay bills ,or worse,on the street,
Its much more difficult when one is disabled,not as easy, for him or her,
to get back on their feet,
There is a 75 % unemployment rate ,this is true,
Does that surprise you?
That, statistic is a fact,
This is due to many reasons, alternative skills, some blind people do
lack,
And of course, there is discrimination, but many stay home and collect
Social security, SSDI or SSI,
Because, they don't have as much of an insentive to work, that is why,
They lose their health benefits and more,its quite complicated,
They debated,
And agree, perhaps, the media, should be involved before, we will see any
real change which we plan to do,
And unfortunately, this KDd, needs to be through,,
I have housework to do,
Its now, 3 in the afternoon,
The day will be over soon.
And I could be writing all day long, stating all the issues there are
numerous, you know?
But, as said, I do need to go,
And want to get things done and for my mood to improve I am a little
grouchy, just a tad, lol
And would like to know, the day you had?
We will be flying to Boston on December 20 leaving 4;10,late in the
afternoon , arriving there, close to 11 o'clock at night,
It is a long flight, about 6 or 7 hours,
Hope there is snow, not rain showers,
And on time, hope the plane from Phoenix will depart,
And going to do housework now, and then, read more Dark River's of the
heart,
And, then, listen To Deb do her country show, and we have to plan ours, yes,
Monday, is soon here, great music we will play,

Feeling like a Zombie, wicked tired, how is your day?
And right now, The Eagle's "lying Eyes" Kim does play.
They are one of my favorite groups, but never saw them in Concert, Live,
And the year she is featuring is 1975,
That was a good year, I was in the 5 th grade, one of my best,
And wish, Darrell and I, last night, got much rest.
We were living in Upper Saddle River New Jersey, School I did like,
Had good grades, played basket ball and rode my bike,
Mrs. Mc keon was my teacher, she spent extra time with me,
And the college Kids had a party here, up late, you see.
I also was taught how to type, in Girl Scouts and Ballet
And later in that year, June, we moved to Canada, not May,
Over summer vacation,
And like listening to the interactive station,
On Sunday Mornings, should check the coffee Maker, need my coffee fill,
And later, will sort through boxes, we will.
Kim Is playing lots of John Denver, Jimmy Buffett, and Olivia
Newton-john,
And we finally got to bed 3 hours, before dawn
I red more of Dark Rivers of the Heart, last night, but, around 11;30,
the crowd did increase,
Outside, by the pool, no peace,
About 50 kids out there, playing rap and soft rock too,
So, we called the cops and by the time she did show, at 1;30, they were
through.
The Lady Officer, did not stay long at all, beer bottles tossed allover
the place,
If, I was a cop, I would ask for ID, other information, cleaning up and
going home, would not be enough, not the case.
Right now, she is playing Carli Simon's " your So Vein",
And back ing 75, love board games,
Would play scrabble and monopoly and had to do chores,
Kids back then, could play outdoors,
It was much safer, we would ride bikes, play ball, kick the can, until we
heard the cow bell for dinner,
And the music today, most are winners.
Kids then, were not as bored and had much more exercise,
And around 9 this morning, we did rise,
Rose,
And this KDd,for you, I compose,
I met my friend Andrea that year, I taught her English, and she, me, Greek,
And hope you all, have a wonderful week.
We kept in touch, when I moved away,
And in 77, she went back to Grease, from what her Adopted Mom, did say,
In a letter she sent me, I was very sad,
Knowing, not as many opportunities, she would have, and would miss the
American friends she had,
Yet, her Folks, wanted her back, now, that she was old enough, to help on
the farm and take care of the younger children,
In 77, was the last time I heard from her, that was when.
Its now, 11;04,
And back then, I watched Mary Tyler Moore,
It was a favorite show,
Now, she is playing Barry Manaloe,
Also a favorite,was the Odd Couple with Jack Clugman and Tony Randall,
And soon, many, will light Candles,
And decorate their trees, front doors, and bake,
And now, I am finally awake.
Back then, a stamp was 10 cents and 57 cents a gallon for gas
Unemployment at 8 %, and on December 21 st, we will leave for Mass,
The annual Salary was about 11,000 she did say,
And should go, have things to do today.

And we had many VIP's and room moves again today,

then twice,
And for lunch, they had steak, vegetables and rice.
Front Desk was confused but, I reminded them of the changes made, earlier
that they gave me,
And tonight, we will have fun, hanging out with ACB.
At the health faire, they had information,
On our Benefits and conservation,
Health, fitness and exercise,
And I am sure, Jeff, you will play all Christmas on the Desert Skies?
Yesterday, some things I forgot to mention,
We had an OSHA inspector, check the hotel, there was tension,
For the managers, wanted to see if, we all worked in a safe place,
For us in housekeeping, our cleaning products labeled and other supplies
not lying around,
So no one gets hurt, nothing they found,
And our department did very well,
And 4 hours, they were at the hotel.
There was also a fire, and two trucks there yesterday,
Guess, the guys, who tossed ashes into the dumpster, did not extinguish the
flames right, and the flames were 22 feet high,
So, that is why
The fire Department was there,
And not much more I can share,
About OSHA you know?

I spoke to my Nephew, Bobby, he was home typing up an English Paper for
school, and he hurt his shoulder,

Yesterday, in Boston, they had a Nor'easter, yesterday it was pouring rain
not snow,
So, the beach, Tara, wanted to go.
She wanted to see, what washed up on the shore so, the day, there, most of
the Family spent,
She is a graduate Student,
At Harvard and doing quite well, getting A's in everything,
I am surprised a second dose, to you all I do bring.
She is doing a Nature project for School, Marine Life she seeks,
And from what Bobby Said, Football ends in a couple weeks,
He doesn't like it much, and says, the team is doing okay,
Mentioned we are coming there for Christmas, to stay,
And replied, Mom, will call you later today.
Our flight and plans we are attempting to arrange , its difficult when
all, are miles away, now, 2 hours behind us,
But, soon, we must,
Work it all out and reservations we need to make,
And, today, I did not bake,
Yet, I have chicken in the crockpot, smells good is the aroma,
And Michelle, fortunately, is not in a coma,
Yet, she is not doing great, but, Friday night, from the Hospital she was
released,
And I think, Tara and the gang, will have a Thanksgiving Feast.
Wish, we all could be there,

I could not reach my Friend Mary Anne,
Backin 83, our friendship began,
I have known her a long time, since, we were in our teens,
And I don't like refried beans,

And Mary Anne, is sweet, kind and very nice.
She is Intelligent, has a sense of humor, friendly too,
And taking care of multiple handicapped children , mostly Autistic kids,
is the type of work she does do.
She is a single Mom and her Daughter Liddy, is 9,
And have-not spoken to her in awhile, hope all there in jersey, is fine?
Her ex-husband Lee, was a Marine, and they have been divorced for several
years now,
And she is making it, somehow,
Working, and taking care of her Mom, whom is aging, there each day,
And her Dad, a few years back, had passed away,

Though, I know, she is doing her best.
Last time I saw her, was in 2006, on our Wedding day,
Much time can pass, and we then pick things up, have lots to say.
I also spoke with our Friend Ruthie,
I have known her since I was three,
She lives in California, in San Diego,
Since, I was very small, our friendship, did grow
Some of you may know, She is a Flight Attendant for American, not United,
I have mentioned her, in my Kdd's, so, about her, you may have red,
She is flying international, to Ireland and lately Tokyo Japan,
And will try to make it to Boston in December, if she can.

And in 84, trying to recall, what I done,
Did, I know, I graduated from High School, for me, that was a major

Then, College I went.
My life was not typical, was on Patterning,a slow and unusual start in life

So, some, never thought, I would be a grad,
And recommended I go to a junior College or learn a trade
Because, I only receive a little above average grades,
And it is difficult for me to learn,, yet, I am tenacious and I persevere
And I am again, having coffee, as I sit writing here.
My Family believed in me,
And that year,, not as well, I could see,
But, did not know it, until a year later, in 85,
When, my sight, took a major dive,
Suddenly, it, all I lost, within a two hour time frame,
And since, then, my eye sight, has never been the same.
And, 3 times, it came and gone since then, many years ago, I have been
totally blind, since 91, couldn't see great since 86,
And in 1984, there was a really good music mix.
Anyway, Kutztown University, I did attend,
And it was around then, I began to make friends,
Prior to this, Friends, only had a few,
I was shy, introverted, a misfit, this was true.
I began majoring in Special Ed, wanted to teach,
even then, I loved the beach,
I love music, dancing, swimming and writing, just like I do today,
Just did those things in a different way.
I did not yet, use a screen Reader, I handwrote,or used the typewriter,
not the PC,
Several years, before, that wil be.
It was 87, when, I began using adaptive teck, the Keynote,
And backing 84, many letters, I wrote,
To my friends, who were miles away,
I would write a letter, every other day,
And each was 2 through 8 pages in length,
And then, I had normal strength,
In my arm, never had an injury, before,
But, in 1984,
I cut the bottom of my left foot pretty badly, not my hand,
I have a big scar,only really hurts, when I walk on the beach, the sand.
Kutztown U, was a Teacher's College, In P A,near Allentown,
that year, I was a punk Rocker for Halloween, not a clown,
I was involved in the Student Council and played basketball and the piano,
And my family, skiing, we would go,
Then, I loved the snow,
And enjoyed skiing downhill, but, when, lost my sight, it was no longer
fun,
Back then, well, I could run.
I participated in USABA, athletics for the blind, half a dozen medals, I
did receive,
A couple years later, the organization, I did leave,
Had more to do with, struggling with my blindness, with it, I tried to
cope,muchmore time, I did need,
And though, I did not like to read,
Now and then, I read mysteries and I still do
And saw some of the top TV shows too.
I remember, watching, ones that were a major hit,
As well as, I red a lot of American Lit.
I recall, watching Family Ties, Cheers and Cosby on Thursday Night's,
No one, then was on the internet, surfing web sites,
Creating posts for their blogs,
We all were in the Library,doing research from a card catalog,
Not on the net, not at all
No using google, shopping online, rather, physically going to the Mall.,
This is all I can recall, from that year,
And I should go, have lots to do here.
I have to select music for our show, takes a while before the playlist is
through,
And have housework to do,

We just finished broadcasting on interactive, filled in for Jeff, he had to
work late,
And hope your day was great?
We were bummed,wish, he could have done his show,
And tomorrow Darrell will go,
To a podcamp here in Tempe, a few miles away,
And quickly went my day.
It wasn't shot down the tubes , very relaxing ,not really a very
productive one,
And hope tomorrow, Darrell, you will have fun?
We had a good time as always, producing another show, the café , under the
desert skies,
And soon, we will have to be Christmas shopping, we wil not buy any ties,
And probably not socks,
And certainly not give as a gift, pet Rocks,
Something that was popular in the late 70's,
Or get a passport overseas.
We will be traveling back east, in a few weeks,
Hopefully, will play in the snow, will be cold with red rosy cheeks,
Wearing a heavy coat and boots , gloves or mittens,
We will play with our little Niece's, Emma and Marin, and the dogs, not
kittens.
And the older kids, Jo,jo, Katie and Bobby,
Not go shopping at Hobby Lobby.
This morning, I went to my Chiropractor, an adjustment I really did need,
And another novel, I will read.
Our Chiropractor is also a friend, her name is Andrea and we have known
her 8 years since 99,
And she is doing better, is fine.
She has had a difficult couple years, has gotten divorced , what a
difficult thing,
And a variety of music we did bring,
And Tonight, we played Steve Miller's swingtown,
And for quite awhile she has been stressed and down,
Understandably so
And we chose songs that were upbeat for the show.
Would want to make you dance smile and tap your feet, in your slippers
or your shoes,
And we also discussed news,
Some teck and whether the News is balanced and Fair,
And our opinions of what is good news and web sites, that we all should
view,
Can't believe the first day of my weekend is through,
4 more to go, mentioned Fox, CNN, MPR,FT.com and the New York Times,
and most people who journal, don't make it rhyme? Lol
We all agree its all about sensationalism , but why is it always
depressing and filled with despair?,
Human interest stories, wish they would share.
Things about the positive things people are doing like fund raisers?,
Not about shooting, with automatic weapons?, or facers? ,
Kidnappings?, plane crashes? ,stabbings with butcher knives?
What about, the encouraging things that are happening in people's?
lives?
The good deeds they have done?
A marathon run?
Children having fun?
Not about people dying, discriminating another because of race, or a
disabled person successful in the work place ?
About a Mother being employed ?
After several years?, these things they do often avoid ?
Why is That?
Our Friend Andrea, went to a Halloween Costume Party, did not go as a
witch, or a bat,
But, a biker chick
And those of you who listened to our show, did you like the tunes we did
pick?
Darrell, are you surprised, she went as a biker babe? I am not at all
And soon, we will all deck those halls,
And trim those trees,
decorate our doors,
Extra baking, more chores,
and much cheer,
And our friend Andréa, is dating again, an Chemical Engineer
I am happy for her , this is the best she has been in quite some time,
And now, having a hot cup of Irish tea, not wine.
This afternoon, selected tracks for the show,
And love to feel the cool breeze, and hear the wind blow,
Smell the real Evergreen and pine,
Drink eggnog and have wine,
Sit around the fireplace or family room and chat, catch up,
Drink cider from a ceramic cup,
Nosh on shrimp or cheese and crackers from a platter,
Bake, mix the batter,
Listen to Christmas music, that we will soon begin, all are Merry,
Previous Christmas's, we have played some board games, like, Life or
pictureanary
Or songs being sung , and hanging out together,
Or playing outdoors in the cold blistering snowy weather.
Tonight, Christmas music, we played a few,
Also, played, BeeGees, Men at Work and Paul Mc Kartney too,
The Police, The Beatles, Blondie ,no beach boys,
And soon, will have to find toys,
To buy the kids, don't know what to get each,
And tomorrow, my friends, I hope I can reach?
while doing housework, a few friends I will call , Darrell will be gone
all day,
Need to choose more music, for our show, the Desert café.
Well, its now, 11;26,
And listening to Kevin, , tonight, he has a good mix
Should go, call it a night,
Tomorrow, I will write.

For me, I am glad this day is through,
It wasn't bad, in fact actually a good one,
As well, as today, found out who won,
The pumpkin carving Contest.
It was very busy at work, I had a boat load of Requests for our engineers,
And as some of you know, Back in 2000 worked forSears,
But, , that did not last long, it was the worse job for me,
And Jeff, what happened to the Singing Bee?
That you were going to do in late July?
I know time does fly,
Yet, that sounds like it would be fun, and you thought all, forgot this
fun game?
And tonight, our Staff will light the flames,
It's the season for lighting the fires, in the fireplaces,
And last night, many children had make-upon their faces,
And crazy, Costumes and accessories
To go with it,
To match the outfit.
It was not us in Housekeeping, reservations, Banquets or Bell,
I am not sure, how bad or well,
It was not Front Desk, Accounting, conventions services, recreation or camp,
It was the Catering department whom was the champ.
Engineering and Kitchen came in second & Third,
Engineering did Pirates of Hyatt, from what I had heard.
You know, the Movie, Pirates of the Caribbean? That came out in the Theatre
a few months ago?
And Jeff, hope tomorrow night, you will still, do your show?.
My weekend has begun, don't go back to work until November 7,not 6 or 8,
And November 22,is Thanksgiving day, that is the date.
Last night, I stayed up late,
Longer then I should of,
But, novels with all elements and a moral to the story I love.
I thoroughly enjoy Mysteries and like that element of surprise,
And not until Wednesday, early I will not have to rise,
So, as I said,
The book, Life Expectancy " , I red,
It I did finish, right before my shift began, it had a good ending,
And time together, Darrell and I this weekend will be spending.
I am not exactly sure, what we will do,
Do housework? Read a novel new?
Plan for our show?
As to what else, don't exactly know.
Well, can't think of anything else to say at this time,
