Hope you're alright?
This is my last day of my extended weekend,
What is new with you friend?
I haven't had a chance to write the dose until now, busier earlier in the
day,
Went to a doctor's appointment and music I had to gather to play,
Had to prepare the show, choose the files,
Certainly wanted to bring you all more then smiles
And your spirits we hope we did lift,
And unfortunately, back to work for me, another shift,
Though, today, is Monday, tomorrow its Monday for me,
Glad, I could be,
Here, again, on ACB,
On interactive, in the café,
Hoping it was a fun ending or beginning to your day?
Today is TGIM, we are grateful to have a job, a roof over our head and food
on the table,
Access to the internet, but, often, can do without the cable?
Good to have access to the telephone,yet,much more important then all of
this,
Are people, all of you, I'd miss
And if you were not part of my life, these KDD's I would not write,
There would be no point to the Karen Corner's site.
Anyway, we enjoy our time in the café,
As you can tell, a variety of music, we do play,
A diverse mix,
>From 3 to 6,
The door is open at the same time and place,
Today, we had to race,
To get the play list complete , ready for all of you,
And shortly before the café opened, we were through.
We began with Yackity Yack and ended with Fields of Gold
And Kenny Rogers, sung about how cards to hold,
And fold em,in the Gambler song, chosen for me,
Since, I like to play blackjack you see,
Not at the real casino,
Yet, to the the zone,Virtual one, I do go,
We played almost a little bit of everything,
But, not 40's, Jazz, R & B and swing,
However, we entertained you, with some 50's,70's country and pop, no
rap,
And we had an infinite amount of food in the café and all kinds of beverages
on tap
Everything imaginable to satisfy your appetites ,and your hearts,
We played hits on the charts,
From decades gone by,
And we also presented some of Jorgen's music, a D J on ACB R I,
He is very talented , creative and can improvise,
We played ABBA, Lionel Richie,Alan Jackson and Simply Red's Sunrise,
Simon & garfunckle, The Police Jackson Brown and Roxette,
And we chatted with listeners, like, Millica Militza, one person Darrell
had met,
This past year, and other listeners too he joked about how,he would be a
serenader
And neither one of us, would make good singers or waiters,
Yet, I am a dancing Queen, ballerina Girl, not a Gambler, Wino, a boozer,
And we did not play Queen's lonesome loser,
Or we are the champion,
And soon, this KDD, will have to be done.
Yet, hope those of you who did join us in the café, had fun?,
Glad to se you there, Jeff, Matt, Jorgen, Tina and Marie
Having Darrell's Boss there, was nice,
And Jeff, in the virtual Café, we always have ice,
For your 20 pounds, that for your soda you need
And should go soon, sleep I do need,
Morning, will come early, will wake up , 30 minutes before 5, definitely
an uncivilized hour,
Still I need to take a shower,
I will be up for a while longer, probably until after 9,
Seems to be a pattern of mine,
Getting about 6 hours of sleep, during the week,difficult to get to bed,
I have a long week ahead,
will be Extremely busy at the hotel 300 General Managers, the President and
CEO, will be having meetings at our Resort,
So, this week my KDd's could be short,
Or I may skip a day,
So ,understand, okay?
You usually do, you always go with the flow, yet, I keep you all on your
toes,
Your never sure, when, and what I will say, what I will compose
What ,and the length of what I will write,
Do need to go, so, take care, stay well and have a great night.,,
