It had an impact on me when, it was delivered my way.
It is titled Cleaning House for 2007,
To resolve issues before we all make our final journey to heaven.
It is not the type of Housekeeping, that involves mopping a floor,
or tossing trash out the door,
But, rather, touches you deeply, & strikes a nerve to the core
Rather,one that , can heel your soul and heart,
not struck you with a dart,
or a gun or a knife,
One That empowers you to look closely at your life.
It's the type of cleaning, where the spot light is on you, your on stage
To search for emotions within in, like worry, sorrow, Anger and raige,
enables you to release,
find inner peace,
find strength & comfort within,
despite, your limitations, mistakes, amd sin.
It is encouraging us all, to not reflect too much on our past,
To live in the moment, & make those times last ,
Not too worry or have regret or despair,
Says it will hinder and you won't get anywhere,
It is asking you to look in the Mirror, at who you are,
Accept who you are,
Don't wish upon a shooting star
And don't Reminisce too much on what you had,
worry about your future,
And you will go far
Further, if your truly living,
You will be giving,
Experiencing pleasure,
& definitely treasure,
all that your given & receive,
&, to feel all emotions, happiness love, Sadness and grieve.
We all know, including myself,
That life's issues, can effect your mental health,
That you can feel hopeless, discouraged and not kind,
That you feel anxiety, & that you have lost your mind,
That you feel exhausted & do feel the stress,
That your in a need of a vacation, some well deserved rest?
Life can often, pitch you a curve ball,
It can make you feel small,
Or like you have hit a virtual brick wall
& that you found the rocky road, that you took a detour,
Your at War,
That,your on the front line, in a middle of a battle?,
Or that you been trampled by Cattle?
Hopefully, most of the time,it has boost your self- esteem
,or Give hope, & can complete your dreams.
Sometimes the tunnel has no light,
That life, nothing may be going right,
The light may seem very dim,
& life grim,
That you have many doubts,
And there is no way out?
It may seem too, that noone is listening & your voice will not be heard,
that there is silence?
That, life, does not always make sense?
Someone is, Whether it be God a friend or Family,
Someone is always there for you and me. (:
So brush up the dust,
It is a must,
& toss, the trash the emotional baggage away,
And you will have much happier days. (:
Yes, this is much easier said & done &, a difficult task it can be,
I know, it is the case for me.,
I need to toss the worry, the hurt & the pain,
To feel the warmth of the sun and thrive in the rain,
I need to stop being self critical & play those old tapes, those I need to
discard,
That, will be very hard,
To forget my past, things others have done and said,
In years gone by,
To let things lie,
Though, I don't usually forget, I do always forgive,
Those in my life,
If, that were not the case, Darrell, we would not have become Husband and
wife.
The same with you Tina & Jeff, we have forgiven each other , do make
amends,
& accept each other if not we would not still be very close friends.
Wish, those past tapes in my head, would not unravel,
Would not toss an obstacle in my travels
Wish, those I can ignore & break,
sometimes, the same mistakes, I do make,
sometimes, its hard to change,
To break old habits & your life you need to rearrange,
But, as they say, no time like the present,Start today,
As they say Yesterday is history,
Tomorrow a Mystery,
And today is a gift.
