Today's KDd: 1974, our Dog Odell and things I like well

Its Sunday, September sixteen, at 9;54,feelling wicked tired,
And not very inspired,
Was not going to write a single word, an e-mail or a tweet,
I am beat
Exhausted, much sleep, I did not get last night,
So, not doing very well, not alright
Wish, I could say, I am doing okay,
Struggling to stay awake today,
In addition to that, feeling cold wearing a jacket, one from
uniforms, I did borrow,
Hoping to get much more sleep tonight, and feel better
tomorrow.

As you know, Dougie has allergies, and thus, the bathroom, he more
frequently has to go,
And wish I could be home listening to Kim's show,
Dougie is taking two medications one is a steroid and the other an
antibiodic,in two weeks, he will be good as new
And how are things with you?
I was not too worried, I knew, it was nothing serious, certainly not
fatal,
And right now, Kim is playing Harry Chapin's Cat's in the
Cradle,
And though, I can not hear the music, I can look on the site,
Refresh the page, and an e-mail to the dj's I can write.

I love this song, Sad indeed, what is told,
Love how stories, unfold,
And tell what is happening in one's life emotions expressed,
Songs like that, I love best.

I was 10,in 1974,in the 4 th grade
Did not wear shoes of suede,
But shoes called Mary Jane's, saddle shoes, instead,
And had long hair on my head,
My hair was down the middle of my back, brown with red highlights and
wavy
My favorite color was green, not navy

Though, I liked to wear dresses, I also liked to play
hopscotch,jump rope and run,
And also basketball was fun
I was a skinny mini and good at the 50 yard dash and loved to read
the Hardy Boys and Nancy drew,
Girl Scouts and Ballet, were also activities I did do,
I learned cursive and had my first Pen, that was something new,
And I enjoyed writing, as you know, a hobby of mine today,
And the clarinet I did play.

I remember, learning long division, already knew my multiplication
tables,,
And of course, we certainly did not have cable
Only 4 network channels in fact,
And cheese was my favorite snack
And I rode my bike with a Banana seat,
We would go to the swim club and swim, it was neat,
A manmade lake not a pool,
To stay cool
4-H camp, I did like well
That, year, we had a dog, named Odell
We raised her through the seeing eye,
A year later, when, we had to give her up, we did cry,
She was a German Shepard, very sweet, but a wild girl,
And I often wore my hair with ribbons and had curls

She would make us laugh and smile,
And also remember, raking leaves and then, jumping in the big pile,
Wearing my the devil made me do it, t-shirt,
And I guess, some would consider me, then, to be a squirt?
She was loyal but, when we open the door, she would run out,
We had our doubts,
About her, if the training she would pass,
Yet, she did, and was paired up with a 25 year old blind Man from
Florida, tall and walked fast,
And we all were delighted,
As the letter from seeing Eye red,
And it was 14 years later, that I got Topper,my first Dog Guide,
And at that time, I did not like roller Coaster rides

It was Ironic, we never knew , that I too, would need a guide dog I
had way too much sight
and I was 4 7 in height,
That year I was not into watching the News but, did like the "
Odd Couple" and Mary Tyler More",
And I thoroughly enjoyed, going to the shore,
To Kennebunkport Main
That is enough about me,
Kim is playing a good mix on ACB.
Like, The Bee Gees, Neil Diamond and Olivia Newton Jon,
Steve Miller Paul Mc Kartney and Elton John,
Now, she's playing Ray Stevens , the Streak,
And hope you all have a very good week
Its now going on noon,. A very good thing, you know,
Then, in a few hours, sleep I can go,
Dougie is wicked tired too, and still sleeping away,
And it's a pretty busy day,
And next week will be crazy, a huge meeting, tell you more at
another time,
Hope, it all will go fine,
Tell you more, when closer is the date
And hope your Sunday is great?
I'd like to hear from you,
Tell me how you and your family is,? Or something new?
I now, do need to go, need to run, work to be done.
Take good care and talk later today, alright,
And tomorrow, I will write.
