Today's Second KDD: My Job, Its a Juggling act

I feel like I am a juggler in a way,
There is so much to do on my job each day,
I work in Hospitality, & at our Hotel, many Guests stay. (:
Most are Groups, 85 %,
& 40 hours of my week are spent,
four days a week , My job I do enjoy, & do it well,
& I am employed at a chain Hotel.

I work in House keeping as an office coordinator,
Not in Food & Beverage as a waiter,
Or as a massage Therapist or a Front Desk Agent,
It enables me to pay the rent,
Put food on the table,
& other services like Internet & cable. (:
I do not workin PBX , Landscaping or accounting, where numbers they
crunch,
Or workin the employee cafeteria, where, they make our lunch,
Or work at the Pool or valet,
I answer the phone all day,
& use a Nextel phone as a two-way radio,
most of the time, fast the time does go,
Most of the guest are pleasant & do not complain,
& we get leaks when,it does rain,

Fortunatly we do not get snow,
&, we have singing Gondoliers who row,
boatson the lake,
& we have Computer tecks, who fix the systems when they break.
I am like a receptionist/dispatcher rolled into one ,
&, there is always work to be done,
Unlike most, I do have fun
& Like what I do,
How about you?

It's a lot to balance & I need to prioritize , calls come in fast,
Some request I need to dispatch first while others last, ,
Phone lines ringingoff the hook ,& my radio blaring,
& need to be patient, friendly & always caring,
no matter, if your feelling ill or having a bad day ,
need to be professional & not disclose that with the Guests who stay.

I hear from Guests who need amenities,
Not those who need keys,
& we do not just clean the Guest rooms , you see,
but also, ballrooms, pool & Lobby.
& do so much more,
& we have a health club, camp & a Gift store,

Managers from Banquets, Reservations PR & sales,
Give me a call or sendus E-mail,
With plenty to do & work to complete,
& I do it well,
never thought,I'd want to work for a Hotel,
since, Ihave my degree in Psychology, thought I'd be a
Psychiatrist & listen to other's problems all day,
Life is interesting,, wouldn't you say?
Perhaps, I will write a novel as well?
For now, I wil just work here, at the Hotel.
