Today's KDD: Our Pumpkin and the Novel Life Expectancy

I know, this isn't very good, but, do want to send you a KDD for the
day. Take care and will write again in a couple days.
Its Wednesday, October 31, at 7;48,

Hope your day was great?

Hope your Halloween was safe and fun?

Maybe, tomorrow, we will find out who won,

The Pumpkin carving Contest?,

At work, chosen by our Guest, Managers chose the top 3, and then, those
were displayed,

A crazy ,kind of cute one, our Department made.

I thought we would go with some of the ideas mentioned in my previous KDd's,
yet, those, were not easy to do,

Who knows, if they will all applaud us? Or boo?

Instead, we used an ice bucket, as the neck of the pumpkin, and the lid for
the hat,

A mop, as hair, wild & crazy, not flat,

Amenities such as shampoo, were strung through on the side,

Had one evil eye, and the mouth was wide

The novel I am reading is getting really good,, staying up too late and
even talking in my sleep,

At least I did not leap,

Out of bed?

Weird thoughts ran through my head,

Thinking about, the second terrible day in the main characters life,

Effecting everyone close to him, his folks, Grandma, but especially, he
and his children and his wife.

His Grandfather, predicted 5 days, as major events, minutes before his
birth, and before the grandfather did die,

Can not believe how fast, this year did fly,

Tomorrow will be November one

And this dose , it should be done,

I want to read more,

Did you have many trick or Treaters at your door?

and early I need to be awake, Hope I will not sleep talk tonight?

Enough for now, I do write,

She is out of ICU ,in a regular room,, doing okay,

Nethugs Message: Let The Children Be

Twas Halloween night and all through the sky,

The clouds hid the moon as the bats glided by.

I was dressed all in white in my mama's old sheet,

Walking with friends down the ghost-haunted street.

All the kids were dressed in bright costumed array,

While flashlights and street lights guided our way.

We giggled and laughed as we hurried to each door,

Ringing or knocking, then laughing some more.

There were pumpkins aglow and skeletons dangling,

Scarecrows and shadows and silver chains clanging.

Grownups in masked faces opened doors in greeting,

As we stood with our bags and waited for treating.

Some people say that we should not have this night,

That too many kids are harmed by the sights or the fright -

But it's the one time a year when we can pretend to be

Someone else for a while, not you - not even me.

Let them celebrate now, as the bats glide on by,

For childhood is brief, like the blink of an eye.

Listen to their laughter and let the children be

Someone else for a while, not you and not even me.

Nethugs Message: Its Halloween

I know, this is a day early, but sending it anyway. I work tomorrow and
likely will watch Scream Two On DVS tomorrow night. So, by then, It will
have been too late. Hope you all had a great day and those of you, who do
celebrate Halloween, hope you will have a fun but safe time. I had a very
long day, a 13 hour day without a lunch break! GRRR!! Take care & look

It's Halloween! It's Halloween!
The moon is full and bright
And we shall see what can't be seen
On any other night.

Skeletons and ghosts and ghouls,
Grinning goblins fighting duels,
Werewolves rising from their tombs,
Witches on their magic brooms.

In masks and gowns
we haunt the street
And knock on doors
for trick or treat.

Tonight we are
the king and queen,
For oh tonight
it's Halloween!

Today's KDD: Life Expectancy and the Haunted Cafe

Its, 12;30 on Monday, October Twenty-nine,

Hope your all fine?

Having a Magnificent Monday?

I just returned home from Safeway.

Normally, I am frequently cold, but, right now, I am feeling hot,

And last, night I started reading Dean Koontz Novel " Life Expectancy",
has a good plot.

The first 5 chapters I read, and number 6, I began,

And this morning, errands I ran.

As I said, its hot, we are having a heat wave, its 85,

And later, we will be live

On ACB Radio.

Today, I am moving slow,

I woke with a headache,

So, a while, it did take,

To get in gear, get things done,

And hope in the café, you will have fun?,

Or had?

In the crockpot I have Chicken and dumplings,

At Safeway, bought, fresh coffee, Hazelnut cinnamon, grounded were the
beans,

Have plenty of coffee now, it's a staple,

And I love French toast with syrup, maple,

Yet, often, I don't have it,

And, I would love to knit or crochet,

That, I cannot do, no kind of art,

and glad, I am not at work, to assist, guest arriving and ones to depart.

We all need time off, to focus on other things , to rejuvenate,

And my first major eye surgery was on this date,

Yes, surprisingly,I do recall, do remember,

It was late October, not in December,

Halloween weekend,

My right eye was removed, took me awhile to mend, ,

It was on a Thursday October Twenty-nine,

Thought, I was fine,

On Monday, went back to school,,

Definitely, did not look cool,

Was in High school, it was the year, 81, not 82,

I was called Pirate, white eye, that was true.

Tara, do you remember, you came to visit me,? in my Hospital room?

You and Mary Beth, you were in some crazy costume,

wanted to make me laugh and smile,

It did for a little while,

Still had sight in my left, my good eye,

In two hours, we will be broadcasting on ACB R I.

Tonight, we will probably watch scream Two

And maybe, more reading I will do?

I love these Thrillers, filled with suspense , I end up staying up late,
until all hours of the night, not good, since I have to work the next day,

Yet, I get enthralled in the book, I do now, need to go,

Get some things done, before our Haunted Desert Café show,

We will keep you updated, on Michelle,

Today's KDD: My day off and update on Michelle

Its, Sunday, October 28, in the morning, around 6,.

Listening to the XM, blend mix,

Ready for work, soon, I will leave,

And again, another dose you will receive.

Last night,

A KDD I attempted to write,

I was almost done,

Then, my computer, it no longer did run,

Jaws stopped talking and my system did crash,

And one of the songs we will play in our show is probably the Monster
Mash.

These days, My documents I am usually saving, I am not sure why, I did
not,

And tonight, I think I will begin the novel Life Expectancy , I am sure,
it has a great plot.

As I had said,

In my Kdd, before bed, it was after 10 o'clock,

And for a change it was quiet on our block,

No college kids around, , they are bar hopping, laughing, making noise,
as they often do,

Last night, they were likely were at the game, at ASU.

We live about a mile away, I don't like, this, definitely not,

The fireworks are in ear shot

As some of you know , they scare me,

And hope you enjoy this KDD?

I did not get much done yesterday, played on the computer, listened to ACB
R I,

Was tired, my arm ached much, that is why.

The pain level was high, from my shoulder, down to my hand,

If you never had an injury such as I had, you would not understand.

Yet, I tolerate the pain and lack of range of motion each day, this is life
for me,

And Last evening,, had chamomile tea,

pain did diminish,

And maybe before work, this message, I will finish?

I was irritable most of the day,

And tonight, after work, Darrell and I will choose music to play.

I am feeling better, very little pain, but not pain free,

Think, it will be a good day for me?

And for you?

What will you do?

Despite the pain,

I cannot complain,

Life is good, things are going pretty well,

Certainly, so much better, then for Darrell's Sister Michelle.

She is in the Hospital in ICU,

Had a blood clot ,pneumonia, hope she pulls through,

Yet, we don't want her to be in pain , this is quite serious indeed,

Everyone's support especially now, she does need.

Hopefully, we will see her during the Holidays?, spend Thanksgiving there?

So, more time, we all can share,

Her Daughter Wendy, who came out a few weeks ago is staying for the
duration, until after she passes away,

Don't like to think about that, but, know, all will be okay.

Much longer, she doesn't have, not much time,

And hope, your day will be more then fine?

Don, Michelle's husband, says, she will be in the Hospital until Tuesday,
maybe longer until the Week's end?

Thoughts and prayers, we do send.

? We don't know will have to wait and see,

Going to be late, my boss I tried to call,noone there, work is 20 minutes
away,

Not the way, to start the day.

Its, 6;49,

This is not at all fine,

Not at all,

Someone, could have called.

Okay, no more right now, I will type,

Don't want to vent, and gripe.

Will write, when I get home, okay?

For now, have a fantastic day.

I am back, its exactly 12 hours later,

And also wanted to say, Michelle is on a respirator,

Don says, she is doing pretty good, but, maybe, he doesn't want to worry
us?

Make a fuss?

Make us upset or depressed?, who knows?

This message, I do compose

Still creating this masterpiece, on this Sunday, October twenty-nine,

soon, I will have hot tea, not wine.

Don also invited us for Thanksgiving Dinner , Frank and the kids will be
down from the 17 to 24,

And tomorrow, we will open the door,

The doors to the haunted Café,

Where, the desert Devils, Halloween music, will play.

That is us, if you have-not figured that out,

And guess, this morning, the driver, had to take an alternate rout

From what he had said, there was some kind of bike race, some of the
roads were closed in town,

And on Halloween, are you going to go as a clown?

Or wear some type of costume?

And from what I hear at work, we may not go with the evil Housekeeper
with, the mop & a broom,

Or the cat or the Which,

They, think it is too complicated, so, those ideas, they want to pitch.

Now, they are thinking of carving the pumpkin into a fish bowl, that Idea,
I don't like,

And not sure , what the event was, why, 300 hundred people on bikes?

We also have had another invitation, for Thanksgiving Day,

And a few weeks after, we will be on our way,

Flying back east,

And I know somewhere, for Thanksgiving, we will have a feast?

Very likely, with Michelle and Family,

Though, we have been invited to spend it with Jeff, Keri and family.

Under the circumstances, they will understand, and we will see them in
early December, it will just have to do,

And, not sure, when this KDd, will be through?

I called my Sister Tara yesterday to see how they are, and make plans
for the Christmas Holiday,

Not long, we did chat, not much, they did say,

For they were ending their Halloween Costume party, saying good night,

To their friends and children's friends, we will soon make reservations for
our flight,

>From what Bob said, he went as a Viking and Tara one of the Harry
Potter Characters , not surprised, she likes this series , all 7, she
probably red?

Don't know what the kids went as, it was not said.

Last night, we watched the Wizard of Oz, silly, I know,

And, hope, tomorrow afternoon, you will listen to our show?

It is one of the favorite Children's Classics and for kids and those of us
young at heart,

And today, we had many guests who arrived, while others, did depart.

It was a typical day, at work,not anything eventful to write about, to
tell,

And hope your week gos well,

Its now, 7;22,

Do have stuff to do,

Like plan our Halloween special show,

So, must go,

Fall is back in the air again
Decorations of witches and ghosts
So turn the light on for the little ones
Pick out the costume you like most

Halloween is so much fun

Nethugs Message: Signs, your too old for Trick or treating! lol

. You ask for high fiber candy only.
. When someone drops a candy bar in your bag, you lose your balance and fall
over.
. You get winded from knocking on the door.
. You have to have another kid chew the candy for you.
. When the door opens you yell, "Trick or..." and can't remember the rest.
. You have to carefully choose a costume that won't dislodge your hairpiece.
. People say, "Great Keith Richards mask!" and you're not wearing a mask.
. You're the only Dragon Ball Z character in the neighborhood with a walker.
. You avoid going to houses where your ex-wives live.
. You ask to use the washroom every two houses.
. You lose your teeth bobbing for apples at Halloween parties.

Today's KDD: Halloween Past and Present

Its Saturday, October 27, at 8;52,

How are you?

How is your weekend?,

My Friend?

A KDD, last night, I began but, the words, I could not find,

Yet, I did unwind,

It was fun and relaxing indeed,

A good laugh, I did need.

Jeff did his show, the desert skies,

And this morning at 8, I did rise.

The skies, he did haunt,

And me and Debbie , he did taunt,

And tease,

And we cooked mini bite pizza with pepperoni and cheese.

It was an all Halloween show,

And today, think, this dose will actually flow? .

He played all the favorites, that we all love and hate,

And soon after he began the show, I was in a weird, wacky, witchy state.
Lol

We heard songs about, witch's, devils and Ghosts,

And on Monday's we are the hosts,

Of the Desert Café,

And Halloween music, we will play,

Yet, hoping, we can find 3 hours of music, none, that you heard last night?

Are you glad, more I do write?

Darrell and Dougie are still sleeping in the other room,

And for our pumpkin carving at work, may do a evil housekeeper, with a
witch hat, mop, bucket and a broom. Lol

He also played many songs about magic and pure evilness, cool stuff, he did
play,

And Halloween, is one of my favorite Holidays.

It is the only day of the year, one can be silly insane crazy and wacky,

Weird, strange, outrageous and tacky,

Wear a costume and get away with it,

And no one, would have a fit,

And one, will not get arrested,

And be told, examined, should be their head? lol

One, can also, be someone, other then, him or herself, be in disguise, wear
a mask,

And on days like today, when my arm hurts much, difficult to do daily living
tasks.

I also like to watch Halloween movies, I enjoy horror, now, that I can not
see anymore,

Will watch, ones, with blood, guts and gore lol

As a kid, I would wear a costume ,many, I don't remember,

Don't think, we had any candy left-over, until December?

I recall, being a princess in second grade,

Wore it, in the school parade.

I also went as, a Indian cowgirl, bum and a punk rocker and a cat,

Never, a cheerleader, devil or a bat,

Never a Joker, pumpkin, or a thug,

A dog, snake or a lady bug,

A Doctor, nurse or a waiter,

Do recall my sister Tara in junior high, went as an roller skater,

And when trick or treating, a classmate stole my candy,

And being on skates, for her ,it was handy,

She was faster, and he , she did catch, she got my bag back,

My goody sack. Lol

I am a brunette and Tara a blonde, and we wore the opposite colored wigs,

Never went as a mouse, tiger or a pig,

But one year, went as Marilyn Monroe,

As to what else, do not know?

Well, not going to sit here all day and write,

Want to post this to my site,

And do some housework, a little and plan for our Halloween show,

Back to work tomorrow, I do go.

Today's KDD: Halloween at Hyatt

Its around 7 on Thursday October Twenty-five,

About 30 minutes ago, home, I did arrive.

My days at work are usually this long,

Hope your all well, that nothing is wrong?

Going alright?

Here, again, I write,

Surprised to hear from me?

To receive another KDD?

Did your day go smoothly or was it a rough one?

Mine, was pretty good, yet, still, glad, its done,

Another day, shot down the tubes, as one of our ACB Radio DJ's does say,

For this statement he is known,

It tickles my funny bone,

I think, it doesn't sound very positive , what do you think?

Darrell is making me, herbal tea to drink,

For me to relax and unwind,

Do you have anything, you want to get off your chest? On your mind?

I am not necessarily saying,, rant & rave, complain and gripe,

Think, much, tonight, I will type? Lol

However, if it helps and makes you feel better, please do,

Having you all as a sounding board has helped me too.

Anyway, this is not what I am here to say and add,

To tell you what kind of day I had,

And things that are new,

Not about objects that are blue,

Or about the book about the lady in the shoe,

Or anything like that at all,

Have a feeling this dose, will not be small?

I have-not said, anything relevant or profound,

Do know one thing, will not take greyhound,

Rather, the Arizona shuttle van instead,

And I better get busy writing, if I am going to get to bed?,

Again, we were sold out, the hotel was a hopping place, phones ringing off
the hook,

And soon, I am going to read another suspense thriller book,

It was a month ago today, that things have changed at work, ,not as
happy there,

One of many reasons, as to why, this part of my life, I don't share,

My Boss and Hr, have not been pleased with my performance,

And how I performed my job duties, its been rather intense,

things, have improved some, yet, still concerned, I can be called in
again, for something I said and did or not do

can you believe, it has been a month? How time flew.

Most days, they seem to be satisfied and say, I appreciate all you do,
today, you worked hard,

Said today, and my Boss, remarked, how, I am her memory card,

Don't know what to believe,

After, the treatment, I have received?

Let me clarify something alright,

About the survey I completed last night,

I did not give the managers all bad marks, think I was fair

I know, on some level, they do care,

And most of the time,the department they run well,

Most things, me, they do tell,

That are important and I need to know,

This, they do,

However, it , they blew,

They had a loyal and dedicated employee,

In me,

And I go above and beyond , usually,

Not as much you see.

My attitude I am trying to change, and adjust,

And this desk needs to be cleaned, clutter free and it, dust.

Today, we also discussed the pumpkin carving contest, what we want to do
with it create?

Want to win, have ours look great,

Be original and creative and evil as well,

For, they will be displayed in the hotel,

In our lobby, for all to view, only one they can choose,

Don't want to lose,

But, if we do, it will be okay,

Just another day.

I came up with some of the ideas below,

Crazy, I know! ,

We are going to carve a whitch or a cat,with a brewing pot, or a mop or a
bucket,

With cleaner and other supplies , sitting by it, and then, we are set?

Or a evil black cat, hanging onto a cart?,

With all the amenities?, and an knife through the heart?

Want some connection between Housekeeping and Halloween?

I know, I am morbid?, am I mean

And, the note attached could say,

Have a scare iffic stay? lol

Please, come back, do return,

Meanwhile, watch, the pot boil, the brew burn,

Too many cooks in the kitchen, in the house? The hotel is filled with
gloom?,

Would you like us now, to service, clean your room? lol

The only part of this, I would say in the note is the scare iffic stay, the
rest is way too long,

Not there, to write lyrics to a song,

Or do art,

To assist our guests whom arrive and those, who are ready to depart.

Its almost 8,

Not really late,

But, I do need to take a shower and this, I want to post to my site,

KDD: Surveys,Pumpkins and Parties

Its after 8 pm,on Wednesday October Twenty-three,

It was a pretty good day for me,

What about you?

Did you have much work to do?

Projects to complete?,

Errands to run?, deadlines to meet?

Doctor Appointments to go?

Clothes to sow?

Kids to chauffeur around?

Some time for yourself, today, have you found?

Laundry and housework to do?

Glad, this day is through.

It was a busy one for me, sold out, 3 days in a row,

And Today, my schedule for this coming week, I actually do know. Lol

Early it was done I was pleasantly surprised,

On Saturday, Monday and Friday, early, at 4;30, I will not have to rise,

For those are the days, I wil not have to be at Hyatt,

Has anyone asked you to answer a survey? Or send you spam? A product, they're
hoping, you will buy it

Try it?

Nothing eventful happened today,

And as said, many guests to stay,

We had a full hotel

Busy working was everyone, us in housekeeping, Front Desk, PBX and Bell,

Reservations, Servers at the 4 Restaurants , recreation and in camp,

To the landscapers, catering and the engineers whom repair lamps,

Screen doors, air conditions, toilets, sinks and drains,

To the housekeepers to make beds, vacuum and remove stains,

To the Reservations who book the rooms for our individual guests and
corporate groups,

To Accounting, purchasing and Human Resources whom give us the scoop

To the managers whom keep us up to speed,,

For the Guests if Concierge they do need,

To the cafeteria workers whom us, they do feed.

As you can see, many employees help to keep the hotel running every day, I
do my best,

Soon after I compose this , will go to bed, get rest.

Again, this year they are having a Pumpkin Carving contest,

Instead of managers judging, it will be our guests,

Next Wednesday, October 31 WE will have them in the Lobby, on display,

For the Guest to judge and vote,

Glad, I can send you this brief note.

Each department will carve their own,

As to what we are doing in Housekeeping with ours, it is unknown,

I have no clue,

Don't really care, what we do,

If, anyone ask me, for my thoughts, my creativity,

They will hear from me,

Otherwise, I will leave it alone, or I may say something, if I can think
of something to add to this activity,

Its not important to me.

Besides, I am not good at carving and hate to clean out the pumpkin,

Yet, I do hope we do win. Lol

So, I guess, my ideas I will submit,

If, a good one, does hit,

My Brain?

My co-workers, it will entertain?

Tonight, I completed an employee opinion survey,

Hopefully, they will truly listen to what we all have to say?

My managers did not get good scores, yet, felt I was honest and my
suggestions were good ones and valid too,

Wonder, if in the future, if anything new,

Will happen as a result of what I and others said?

And soon, I need to get to bed

Its already almost 9 o'clock,

And soon, again, I will pull into the dock,

And at work, for another day,

So, should get on my way.

Perhaps, tomorrow, I will send you another dose?

Also need to figure out my vacation, when we are going home, the exact
dates, thinking from Dec 20 to 27, come back then?

Sometime over Christmas is when,

We will go,

Do wish, they will get snow,

Especially Christmas Eve and on Christmas day,

Maybe, in the snow, we will play?

It was loads of fun, a big hit,

A great way to spend Christmas eve,

KDD: Excellent restaurant and spending time with close friends

It's now Monday afternoon at 1; 38,

Hope your day is great?

It's October Twenty-two,

How are things? How are you?

I know, it's been 4 days since a KDD, you did receive,

And, our greyhound trip, you may not believe?

Also, visiting is my friend Eve.

First, I will begin with our Dinner Thursday night,

That is right; it was then, that I last did write

I did not have time, that night,

After, we did dine

To compose a dose, all is fine,

Doing okay,

And later, we will be hanging out in the café.

Anyway,

We had a good time, the other day,

The other night,

We all had enjoyed our dinner, at Mc Grath's Restaurant,every bite,

All of us, Alice, Darrell and me,

We began with white wine, Alice and I, Darrell, icetea,

We had an appetizer, the seafood platter,

Then, we had our entrees, Darrell had steak & shrimp in beer batter,

With their fries and he also had the New England clam chowder Alice, the
chowder, she also ate,

I do like Chowder, but fries, I don't think, they are great,

Unless, they are mc Donald's fries, they are the best,

And, it also took a day for my food to completely digest.

Alice, had the shrimp and Crab, fries and chowder clam,

I did not have lamb,

Rather, the steak, firewood shrimp and pasta Alfredo, dish side, instead,

And a delicious pair walnut garden salad

I wasn't sure, if it I would like, the ingredients, an interesting blend

We had good conversation, glad, Alice is our friend.

The next day, I had to work, very busy at the hotel,

All, day I wasn't feeling well,

All day long I was stuffed, way too much, I did ate,

And later, that day, we took the greyhound, we arrived late.

On Friday, we had 293 guests to arrive and to depart, 303,

It was a hectic day for me.

After work, our Friend Marian drove me home, and took us to catch the bus,

We got there, after dust,

It was after dark,

Next to the airport, not the park,

Was the greyhound

It was difficult for Marian to get there, but, it we found.

Our bus was scheduled to leave at 8 pm but, did not pull out the station
until 8; 45,

Where, around 10; 45, we did arrive,

In Tucson, guess, there was an accident on the highway,

Made it for a very long day.

Saturday, we woke up around 8,

And pancakes we ate,

Keri, them, she did make,

And Keri and I, a trip to walmart, we did take,

Just she and I,

Groceries, we had to buy,

There were 6 of us, 4 adults and Children Brian & David, two,

Not much there, we did do,

As I said, in my dose the other day that, is how it goes,

And glad, today, this KDd for you I can compose.

While, she and I were gone,

Darrell and Jeff, worked on main Menu, did not mow the lawn,

Talked to a friend,noone over seas

Later, that day, me, they did tease.

We had lunch, a huge hoagie a sub, all 6 of us, it fed,

Keri, cut Darrell's hair, less hair on his head,

No more wings, it looks nice,

Yesterday, she made a casserole with chicken and rice.

A Horror Movie, we all watched Saturday night,

And yesterday, Keri and I , got into a fight,

Had a misunderstanding, worked it out, close friends still

And her and Darrell Saturday night, cooked burgers on the grill.

We saw a movie called 1408 about a haunted room in a Hotel,

And I think, all of us, it, we did like well,

And Their Son Brian scared me,

during the haunting music, he pulled on my foot you see.

It is about a writer whom researches Haunting's & murder's at this
particular Hotel,

the story, in his latest book, he does tel,

in the film, we do see Ghosts,

and today, in the crockpot, making pork and Potatoes, similar to a roast.

There are not very good movies or TV programs out there,

We all just spent time together, quality time, we did share.

Although, Keri and I, a misunderstanding we had,

We hurt each other's feelings, felt bad,

And at me, Darrell, got mad,

We were glad,

Getting together and she also, saw pictures of me, as a College grad

Pics of my family over a decade ago, she did see,

Also, hemmed some pants for me,

Also gave us, some herbal tea,

To take home. Appreciate their friendship and everything they do,

Consider them and a few other close friends, family too.

Yesterday evening, we left for the bus station, left around the 5 o'clock
hour,

Also, Keri and I, sung in the shower,

Her in theirs and me, in the hall one,

We all had fun.

Our bus, was supposed to leave at 7;10,

But, at 8;40, it was when,

It did depart, Tucson Arizona , the United States of Mexico lol

Hope you can hang out in the café? Listen to our show?,

Both times, we did not get any assistance, not much at all, not good,

For over an hour, at the gate, we stood,

No announcements made,

Half the price paid, yet, the service was poor,

Rather, get good accommodations, assistance, and pay more.

take the shuttle van then, the bus,

Don't want the fuss,

The hassle and the stress, even if, it cost half,

The greyhound, has very little staff.

We got home at 11 o'clock,

And in the café, the music will rock

The show is coming up now, its now 3,

Back to work tomorrow, I do go,

How it will go, don't know?

Yet, will do my best, that is all I can do,

Last KDD: A Relaxing Day was had!

It's still October 18, just later in the day, around 3 o'clock, shortly,
thereafter,

And tonight and this weekend, there will be much laughter,

There always is, but, there will be more with Company, we do spend,

And hope a great day, you had, friend?

I finally got my work schedule, around the 1 o'clock hour,

Spent some time with Darrell, did housework and took a shower.

I do have the weekend & Monday, so, Tucson, we can go tomorrow night,

Again, here I am, do write.

Later this evening, out to dinner Darrell and I will go,

With Alice, a real Seafood Restaurant, you know?

Not like Long John Silver, which fry's there fish, more then 3 inches deep,

And though, most seafood restaurants are not cheap,

They are reasonably priced,

Am sure, I will have a salad, lettuce and veggie's diced,

A seafood platter of some kind,

Maybe, wine, or a mixed drink? may change my mind?

Probably will,

But, that is better, then, taking a valium pill?

Would only have one glass,

And days off, go way too fast.

Well, the packing process is going very slow,

Because, there are things, I rather do, you know? Lol

This is the best I felt like, in a month I know, this is good news,

And tonight, will not have much booze.

I am still upset about my work situation, and uncertain about things,

Who knows what months ahead will bring?

Where I will be?

None of us know, not you or me.

At least right now, I don't feel exhausted and my nerves are not shot,

And want to read another thriller, love the suspense and the juicy plots.

Should go, get on my way,

Compose a dose for another day,

Do tune into the café,

On Monday afternoon from 3 to 6, if you can, be there,

And that night, a summary of our weekend in Tucson, will be shared,

KDd: My day and, things, that smell! lol

It's around 11 am on Thursday, October Eighteen,

And a message from my Boss on the schedule, is yet to be seen,

>From what my coworker Maria said, when, I did call at ten,

The schedule will be ready at noon, that is when,

The schedule beginning for this coming Saturday,

And this morning, I went to Safeway.

Since, I could not access the site, went to the physical store, had help
from a customer service clerk,

And unfortunately, couldn't get a special blend of coffee, one, that taste
and smells good and smells grate and does perk,

In our coffee maker, Mr. Coffee,

Did get Halloween candy, but, not toffee.

The coffee machine was out of order, it broke,

And last night, Keri, had me laughing so hard on the phone, almost did
choke.

Only got a few items, not a lot,

One of which was a banquet meal for the crockpot,

Breakfast food, like muffins,

Nothing in tins,

Or foil,

Or anything that will spoil.

I did get, cookies, carrots and sandwiches from the deli bar,

Coffee, shampoo and, peanut butter in a jar,

Like creamy, not with crunch,

Got no veggies, fruit and anything to munch,

Much, we did not need,

And surprised, you have a Kdd, so soon to read?

While, at the store, I did smell two things, I do hate,

And hope, your day is great?

I loathe the smell of sauerkraut and flowers,

And, I don't like baths as much as showers.

Don't like the smell of egg salad and peanut butter, hospitals, peroxide
and gasoline,

Don't Like soup much, rather, have a salad green,

Dislike the smell and never, smoked pot

Love, coffee and garlic bred hot,

Love clothes fresh and warm, just out of the dryer,

The smell of paper, leather and fire. Lol,

What a weird KDd, this has become, wouldn't you say?

Never thought I would compose one though, write, like this, today,

Never know, what I will say, create,

Better, go, it's getting late.

Its noon and I have not gotten much done,

So, need to run.

Housework I need to do, and pack our suitcase and going out to dinner
tonight,

So, likely, later, today, I will not write?

I return, back to work in the morning, lucky me,

And hoping, on the greyhound bus, tomorrow night, will be Dougie, Darrell
and me?

Tomorrow, we will be sold out, many over 300, to depart, from the hotel,

And do take care & stay well.

KDd: My weekend & visiting with friends

Its Wednesday October 17, at 7; 22,

How are things? What is new?

Its my Friday night, my weekend, off tomorrow work the next day,

And many Guests at our hotel, to stay.

I am doing better, am fine,

And I saw an e-mail, on how to make slime,

And also a fizzy bath bomb, and goop

And I know, these days, your not getting much of a scoop,

On how things are, for me, in the work place

And the slime, there is no paste,

Yet, glue,

And, today, what did you do?

Today, we were slammed, and I was very busy, typing away, answering the
phone,radio and yapping my gums,

And if my stomach hurts, I will take tumbs,

Not alkazelcer, that stuff, I can not drink,

And, I saw a job opening, may apply, what do you think?

It is for a program Director for people with disabilities, at the
recreation center, herein Tempe and the position looks like a good one,

I have the skills and it would be fun.

Not sure, this is a good fit?

And my current job, I really don't want to quit,

I do like working in Hospitality, as the office coordinator,

And I have never been a waiter

I certainly, don't like my job, as I once did,

And I enjoyed being a kid,

My favorite year was 8, learned to ride a two-wheeler and swim in a lake,

And, greyhound, I think, we will take?

Or the Arizona Shuttle, Friday night, the bus at 8 or the shuttle at 7; 30,

And Darrell did laundry, today, that was dirty.

The position, is not with the City, but non-profit for ARC,

And I love, playing on swings or having a picnic in the park,

The Benefits, wouldn't be as good as Hyatt's so, for now, I probably, would
not apply,

And we are going to Tucson, certainly, not going to fly,

However, not sure, yet, the schedule is not complete, it's frustrating
indeed,

Glad, you have another dose to read.

We do plan on heading down Friday night; will miss, Jeff, your show,

Looking forward to hanging out, you know?

All of us,

And likely, we will take the greyhound bus,

The reservations on both are made; the bus will save us half,

And, with the Bishop's, much we do relax and laugh.

Its not like, we go gallivanting around the city,

And, cute, is their kitty,

Mew,

And not much we do,

We lollygag,

Don't watch JAG,

But, sometimes watch a movie, Touch by an Angel, or Little House,

Darrell and Jeff, may play on the computer, while, Keri and I go to the
pet store, buy a mouse,

For Slick, their snake,

And usually, a trip to Wal-Mart, Keri and I do take,

To buy the groceries, the grub for the gang,

And when, I take a shower in the morning, sometimes, they heard me sang,

Did not know that was the case did not realize, I'd be singing that loud?

And we often, get burgers and stuff, for the crowd

And much more,

At the store,

Like chips, soda and Carats for the dogs,

While, the women are away, the guys, may write articles for their blogs?

Mostly, we just hang out and chat,

And Jascinda's, Jeff's,dog Guide, get's a long well, with Mew,the cat,

They are like, sister's of course, sometimes , they fight,

On Sunday, or Monday, a dose of our weekend, I will write.

Dougie and Cinda, like to play,

Fast, goes the day,

Time together, and the weekend, soon comes to an end

Just like this message my friend.

I will try to write tomorrow, before, bed but much to do,

Getting a few items at Safeway, and Dinner out, and packing too,

Tomorrow night, with my Friend Alice going to Mc Grath's a Seafood
restaurant, that we have never tried,

And it's been a week or so, since, I have not cried

So, I am doing pretty well,

Glad, tomorrow, I don't have to be at the hotel,

Which is a very good thing

KDD: Inaccessible Safeway site and deprived Sleep

It's Tuesday, October 16, at 8 o'clock at night,

And I thought, I would take this opportunity to write,

I had planned on ordering groceries from Safeway,

And how are you all? How is your day?

Safeway has a separate site for those of us, whom can not see,

Honestly, think only one sight there needs to be,

They can just provide, proper alt tags and give their images a description,

Much easier, it would all be, to get done.

For some reason the accessibility site is down,

And Tara, what are the kids, going as, for Halloween this year? A clown?

Or something from the top movies? Or TV shows? Or musician from their
favorite band?

Or characters on TV land??

Or some weird creature from another planet?

And wish, I could, shop on the net,

Complete my grocery order,

And this weekend we will not be too far from the border,

Of Mexico,

Less then an hour, Tucson, we will likely go.

I still need to get my schedule, I never know from one week to the next,
difficult to plan anything,

And glad, this message to you, I can bring.

This, it, will soon have to be through,

And wonder, what Emma, 4 and Marin, two,

Will go as this year?

And I am having a cup of herbal tea, as I sit here.

This has been a very stressful 3 weeks, between work issues and
finding out, a family member is ill, Michelle,

And last night, we did not sleep well.

Some College Kids were making racquet, commotion ,

And, as many of you know, I love the ocean,

The beach, its fun,

And Tomorrow, Michelle's treatment, will have begun,

She is not having radiation, but Chemo,

And I never saw that movie, " Finding Nemo",

A Disney film,

And I don't have a kiln,

But, do enjoy ceramics

And one of my favorite music groups is the Styx,

And I think, okay, are the Dixie Chicks,

And, I do need to get up 90 minutes before 6,

So, better go,

You know?

And Thursday sometime, I will write.

Last KDD for today: Michelle and Visit with Family

Its still Sunday, October 14, at 5; 26,

Listening to the Blend, a music mix,

On Our XM Radio,

And good, the visit with Family did go.

They, were not here long,

And, nothing, did go wrong,

We mostly had small talk,

And Darrell's Niece Wendy and I went for a walk,

Had a chance to get to know each other a little more,

Showed up before 4,

And we sat around the living room catching up, finding out what is new,

As well as asking, what the doctor's can do,

For Michelle,

And she did tell,

Wednesday she will begin Chemo,

For how long, she doesn't know

Taking meds for pain, the cancer is in her back and her chest,

Taking it easy, getting much rest.

We know she is scared and is quite courageous, if you ask me,

Not sure, if I could be?

Perhaps I would? You do what you have to do, right?

Here, I am again, this, I do write,

And, it's now Sunday night.

Four of the family Members did come, Michelle her husband Don and her kids,
two of the three,

Frank, Wendy, Darrell and me.

Don is being great, not working as much and doing everything around the
house,

And Frank's Spouse,

Angela is a teacher and he, in the Military, is an Analyst, would love to be
a cop,

And Wendy, went from working as a beautician in a shop,

To working in a Hospital and going to school too,

But, being a Vet is what she really would like to do.

Wendy's, significant other Mark not sure, what he does for a living,

Dougie, kisses, he was giving,

He was sitting on mine and her lap

And, they, had water from the tap,

Usually, we are a great host, have stuff to nosh on , drink or we go out
and dine,

Yet, found out at the last minute, didn't have time,

And noone, made it a priority, to really get together,

And nice, was the weather

And though, it was brief, glad, we had the time together.

Darrell's mom isn't really doing well, these days, is getting old,

That is what we are told,

And can see for ourselves, she is not taking her meds,

And mood is affected, from what Michelle, said.

So, we are not the only ones, from what they did say,

Who got an earful yesterday?

Yet, we made the best of the situation because, Michelle is sick,

And before they got here, we listened to Rick.

Michelle apologized for yesterday, for mom not communicating and for Don;
he was near our apartment,

Could have picked us up and time with them could have been spent,

With them all, but mom did not call,

Told her it was really okay,

We were all pleasant, civil and new, they would soon have to be on their
way.

Frank and Wendy had to catch a flight

Around 7; 30 tonight,

Longer, they could have stayed, would have liked it,

You know,

And, Tucson, we would have been able to go,

, could have gone,

And tomorrow morning, up before dawn,

Jeff, hope yours and Keri's Anniversary tomorrow,is great,

KDD: Kim's show on ACB and Family

Its Sunday, October 14, at 9; 54,

And Today, Kim is playing music from 1964

I was born that year, in Queens New York, then, in 65, moved to New
Jersey, the Garden State,

How are you all?, hope your day is great?

I know, I wrote a couple days ago,

We are not listening to the radio,

But, interactive, her blast from the Past every Sunday,

Cool, music, she does play.

>From what she said, it cost about $20,000 for a house,

And 5 cents for a stamp, don't know, how much for a blouse,

Unemployment at 5.2 % and new was the zip code,

And cars, T-birds on the road,

New also was poptarts and the cereal Lucky Charms,

And songs that year were postman by the Beatles, not Journey's Open Arms,

Or Beach Boys, fun, fun, fun and Mary Well's "My Guy",

Like many of the shows on ACB R I.

This is the last day before I go back to work, oh, fast time does go,

After Kim's show,

Going to do some ore housework, company we will have later today,

What can I say?

We had cancelled plans with our close friends Jeff and Keri to spend time
with Darrell's Family,

His sister Michelle is ill, you see,

Has cancer, and only about two to four months, May be more? Or less?

We have been under much stress.

Anyway, we made attempts for his family to reach, to coordinate time and
place,

So much time, we did waste,

They weren't returning calls, and communication was poor,

And finally last night, we found out, that we are going to get together
around 4

It would have been best, to get together yesterday, when, everyone was at
the house, there,

Time, with all of them, we could share,

But, what can I say; we were not a priority at all,

Not making a special trip to pick us up, not even a phone call,

And, we even were going to take a ride up there from a friend or take a
cab, an hour drive,

And around 9 this morning, we would have arrived

It could have been nice, spending time with them all, especially Michelle

Since, she is not well,

Yet, that, they did not want to do, our time with them will be short,

Darrell's Nephew frank, will come down two hours, before, they head to the
Airport,

Not sure, who else who will come with him later today,

And not sure what, else, to say

Some issues resurfaced last night,

Don't know what to write,

Just know, that some people can not forget and forgive

Can't not live,

Hold grudges, be angry and bitter, resentful and can't let go,

Very sad, you know?

And, this is not the time, to be bickering now, ill is a Family Member,

The good times, the fun and the laughter, we should remember,

And be there,

We do care,

Even though, some of his family, think we do not,

We do a lot.

I know, some of you, are going through some issues of your own,

Found this out, through, e-mail, I.M and chatting on the phone

Some, are having similar issues, someone close to them has been diagnosed
with cancer too,

And another, struggling to find an internship to do.

Its now, 10; 56,

Think, I am going to finish listening to Kim's mix,

And do some housework before Family gets here, so, this dose is done,

KWD: Writer's Block & misplaced Jukebox

Its Thursday October 11, at 2; 08,

Hope your fine? doing great?

I know, it has been almost aweek since, you have heard from me,

Yet, I am not doing very well, you see.

I have made a number attempts to compose a Kdd, after work at night,

However, I am finding it extremely difficult to write,

I had writer's block,

And right now, I am listening to 80'srock ,

On our xm radio,

And, hope smoothly, your week did go?

Hope your week was productive and that you accomplished much?

And again, sorry, lately, I have not kept in touch,

My apologies for not at least writing a short note

But, I am struggling to just stay afloat,

Trying to swim back to shore,

Lost my ore, my paddle,

Felt like I am at battle,

These last two weeks very stressed and tired,

So, not very inspired,

To do much at all, just go to work, get projects and tasks complete,

Physically & mentally drained feeling beat,

Feeling unappreciated, upset, hurt and distressed,

And for this reason, writing much less, and not getting as much rest.

I am feeling betrayed, detached, and don't want to be there,

And sorry, again, not much I can share

My trust level isn't high and I question my abilities, performance and
skill

Right now, just there, to pay the bills

Like most everyone,

Just there, to get the job done.

Whereas, before, I went above and beyond and enjoyed going to work most
every day,

Now, at this time, that, I can not say

I know, right now, you may think, half empty I see the glass?

And telling yourself, "Karen, this too, will pass",

And, you will see, it will all be alright?

And, it does not matter, how you're doing, just write,

This all may be true,

Yet, not everyone wants to hear what I am experiencing, going through?

And, I don't want to bring you down, and be negative,

Usually, I am the one, who does give,

Ask people how they are? listen and am there,

Truly cares,

Yet, I can't do that at this time

Things are not fine,

I am being real,

This is, how I feel.

I do feel bad for those, who have gotten an earful each day, for the last
two weeks every night from me

That, is why, I have not written a KDd.

, When, will things be better? Improve? feel like constantly mistakes I do
make,

Not sure, how much more of this I can take?

Usually I am the one, whom is there for another, and there spirits I do
lift,

And now, it's me, needing help, feeling hurt and miftt

And I am sick and tired of it all,

I am glad, it is fall,

Enjoying this beautiful weather,

Somehow I will make it? together?

I need my tools, my outlets, one of which is this,

And I know my doses you all miss?

I know, I feel out of sorts, not being able to write each day,

More withdrawn, not as much to say.

In addition to this,

We received some bad news about Darrell's Sis,

His Sister Michelle has lung cancer, and we just found this out a few days
ago,

We know it's in the advanced stages, but not much more we do know,

This was a shock to us both, healthy she did seem, yet us, all at times we
can be deceived,

The news we received,

Makes me sad,

For Darrell and his family, I feel bad,

Badly, that she is ill,

And not longer on this earth, she will,

Be here,

So, hold closely, those you love those whom are dear,

Makes you put things into perspective for us all,

I don't really know her well at all,

And I don't feel good about that too,

But, what can I do?

Not much, right? My friend

And glad, this KDD, I am finally able to send.

As I had said, in an earlier KDD, we were going to go to Tucson, this
weekend but, instead, we will visit with Michelle

Since, she is not doing very well,

And two of her children will be flying out to see her,

Not sure,

When, all of Darrell's family, us all, we will get together and hang out don't
know the day or the time?

Hope their will be good conversation? laughter? And we will dine.

Not sure what else to say, do hope Tara you and Bob had a Happy
Anniversary

And Mary Beth and Todd, from Darrell and me,

And to you, Jeff and Keri too,

All these years you made it through,

MB & Todd, 6, Tara & Bob 18 and Jeff and Keri, Monday, it will be 19, that
is great,

And no, I don't forget the dates

I do recall,

At my sisters wedding's, I had a Ball,

And hope those whom were at ours had fun too? And could be there and
share in our Special day,

And sorry, we were not there, in the café,

Last week and music did play

However, I do understand that Steve Bower, swapped Juke Boxes and he played
his Jazz Blend?

We will not be there next Monday either friend

Sorry, you did not hear our favorite mix,

And this situation, we will have to fix,

We have asked Steve, to return our jukebox and place it against the wall,
next to the refrigerator

So, we would have it for later,

Not too close to the dance floor, so there is room to dance for our guests,

So, they can put in their requests,

they can bookie and Jam, if they wish, they may,

We all strive to Have fun in the café

We will be there next week, the Twenty-second, October Twenty-two,

Sorry, Darrell has a Eye Doctor's appointment and then, work to do

It's now 3; 24,

And I don't have much more, to say, to add,

Hope a wonderful week you have had,

Some people won't be happy-

Last KDD: My thoughts for the night and my Sister's perspective of what I write

Its still Saturday October 6, around 7; 30,

And think, my KWD, from earlier today, was not very wordy,

Not much I did say,

And still, not yet, have chosen music to play,

For Tomorrow's show,

And for a walk in the neighborhood, we did go, and then, ordered groceries
from Safeway,

We both had a pretty good day

I know, about work lately, not muchI have said,

And after, the walk and grocery ordering, I went back to bed,

I guess, I needed a nap after all?

And I love fall

At work, we have been sold out, many to arrive and to depart,

And my heart,

Is not in the job anymore, lost my enthusiasm,

And fortunately I have not had any burning or spasms,

In my arm and that is a very good thing,

I don't enjoy as much working in the industry,

is there, more out there for me? Is there, something, I have overlooked?

I still want to help others, write a book?

I am definitely a people person, and into healing,

And, this is what I am feeling.

I love to provide resources for another, and good at it, from what I do
hear,

Having a hot cup of tea, not coffee, soda or beer.

I am still very upset and don't feel appreciated,

And working in the corporate world, is often over rated,

There is inconsistency, and many, don't know how to properly communicate,
Poor is communication,

And now, I am listening to Deb's Oldies, again, on the interactive station.

I hope, all will be alright?

And somehow, I need to find a way, to write,

A little at night,

Even a page, for you all to read each day

I will try and send one your way.

Life often does seem unfair,

And not much I can share,

Do not know, who does lurk,

Friends? Family? And people from work?

For example, last weekend, I found out my sister Tara reads my site

That I did not know. Before, then, she has not seen anything, I write.

She says, she thinks my blog is great,

And has read all the doses, has gone back to the date,

To April, to the spring,

When, publically, the KDd's to only then three, I did bring.

She also said, this is a wonderful outlet for me, a good tool,

Think, they are neat, it's all very cool

And, said, it's like reading a column in the paper each day,

Not sure what I will say,

Something to look forward too,

Up until a week ago, there was always one, that was new,

Yet, unfortunately, not easily right now, this, I can do.

Says, sometimes, I am quite serious, but, then, there are others, very
funny, filled with humor and whit,

And guess, people are r checking out my blog, for, it, they do hit.

Some are reading,

And,now,its after nine,

And I really should go,

Unfortunately, back to work in the morning, I do go

Five o'clock will be here before we know it,

KWD: Cog's and Blind Folks in the Work place

It's Friday October Five,

And we are listening to the Desert Skies live,

It's around 8 o'clock,

Right now, we are listening to a song by Stevie Wonder

On Skype,You chatted with Debbie about last week's I.Q,

And how are things with all of you?

Last Week's question was, More Women by one of these, then men?

And we were up 3 hours passed ten.

The answer was a horse, and Debbie commented, she would like a Guide Cat
instead,

And my apologies nothing you lately red,

Had to read,

Nothing has been posted to my blog

And Jeff, you came up with a new term, A Cog,

A combination of a dog and a cat,

What about a Dat?

I think, soft and cute are Kittens,

And sorry, lately, I have not wrote,written.

What if there was such an animal as a Cog?

I am sure, people like Nickie would write about him or her on her blog?

What would it be?

Would a cog, really be able to help you and me?

I think the Cog would have the temperament of a dog but be the size of a
cat, heor she could sit on your shoulder?

And I am very glad; it's finally starting to get colder,

Could the cog assist you across the street?

Would it, bur, when, in a business meeting? sitting their in your seat?

That is, bark and Purr or more like ba meow?

You know, bark and meow?

I am not sure how,

An animal like this, could really help a blind person?

Would it want to jump? play? And run?

Eat its prey?

Find some yarn to untangle and with it play?

Kill a mouse?

Would it, go in a litter box, in your house?

Be nice to your spouse?

Or want to spend time outside?

Or under your bed, hide?

Would a Cog, be nocturnal? And want to work, guide at night?

For someone who had the grave yard shift, it may be perfect? But not for
most, with or without sight. Lol

What kind of breed would it be? What kind of fur?

Would it growl? Or purr?

Hiss

Or lick you? Give you a Kiss?

Would it pounce or be "man's best friend?

And I am very glad, this KDD I can now send.

He does a Jazz show, and I like jazz so much more then opera and rap,

And now, later, I will not have to take a nap.

I am sure, you have observed, that I don't write as often anymore? Not as

I am unable to compose KDd's at work, send e-mail, talk on the phone or surf
the net,

And lately, have not played on the zone, Blackjack, have not bet,

I have though, played the anagrams,

Right now, the music, we jam,

Kim is on the air, and she is playing Blondie's Call me

And we like many of the interactive shows on ACB.

Anyway, can't say much about my work situation, because this is a public
site,

Yet, I am still very upset, hope, all will be alright?

Haven't been sleeping as well and don't have as much time to write

Not good, for me, journaling and writing these doses, was an outlet,

And soon, we will be doing our Holiday shopping; we do most of it on the
net.

Can't believe, its October sixth, and soon, will be the Holidays,

Last time, I posted anything it was 5 days ago,

And over Christmas, back East, to New England, we will go,

Wonder? hope, we will get snow?

Looking forward to visiting my Family we have not seen them in a long time

Think, it was at our Wedding? that was a year and a half ago

And so fast, my Niece's and Nephew do grow.

Are growing,

And outside, the wind is blowing.

This weekend is both my Sisters Anniversary's I am sure, they will
celebrate,

And Darrell and I almost chose, October 6 or 9, as the date,

That we would get married, then all Hughes Sisters, would have an
Anniversary at the same time and could celebrate sometime, together?

Yet, we wanted to have our wedding back east, and October, cold is the
weather.

Here, I cannot say much about my work place,

Just hope, the issues I have had lately, you will not face

Just read and be aware of all the policies alright?

That is all I can say on this site.

Speaking of work, a very close friend is under stress and very worried too,

Difficult time, he is going through,

He thinks he could lose his job in a year or so,

We can't allow that to happen you know?

We can't jus sit back allow it to happen, we need equal access for all

If letters we have to write, or people we may need to call,

We certainly need to try,, ,

Really enjoying Kim's show here, on ACB R I.

They will be changing platforms and the application is not accessible for
those of us, whom are blind, don't have sight

This is not right,

And unfortunately, we will have to fight.

Those of us who care about this, will do all we can to help him,

And it's now too cold to swim,

We were hoping to have the Bishop's up next weekend, have a pool party, swim
and Barbecue,

But, that, we will not do,

We will go down there instead next weekend,

Three days with them all we hope to spend.

With them, we always have a good time,

And the other night,

At work the new Restaurant we did dine,

It wasn't yet open for guests, but will be tomorrow, Sunday,

And about it, not sure what to say

And earlier, Jaws crashed and lost my document, time, I did waste,

And as Darrell said, we did Beta taste,

They invited employees, friends and their family,

And Darrell and I did, we invited, friends of Darrel land me,

Friends of ours, and it was an interesting experience, we all agreed,

And the F & B staff, referred to it, as a Trial Feed",

Trial Feeding,

Customers, tasters they needed

So, their staff, could practice their techniques, become more knowledgeable
and learn how to properly serve us all and for things to go well,

Since, we frequently get large groups and corporate folks, there, at the
hotel

Many, I spoke with, gave it, mix reviews, can't say much more, who knows,
my blog, whom and when, will take a look,

And at my table, sat, a Chef,one of the cooks,

One whom I did not know

And soon, I am going to go,

Want to finish listening to Kim do the show,

groceries I still have to order from Safeway

And also want to find some music , for Darrell to play,

For our show On Monday,

Unfortunately, I will not be there, in the café

And it may not be until Thursday,

That I will again write,

It has been at least 4 days since I wrote a KDD. Now, that I can't write
my doeses before my Shift begins and or at lunch ,nor send e-mail, make
phone calls and all that, I am unable to send a daily dose. I think they
will be more like a KWD. Its very disappointing and wish I had time at
night to write. I am in the process of writing a KDD and will have one for
you tomorrow, or today, Saturday. I will compose a condensed one for you
all. Until then, I was catching up on e-mail and came across this message

Today's KDD: Craziness on the Air and other things, I do share!

Its 12; 30 on Monday October One,

This morning, errands, I did run,

Ran,

My life with Dougie today, did began,

Six years ago today,

Did not buy him a toy to play,

Rather, a marrow bone, that he would like and appreciate,

Hope your all well? doing great?

He is chewing on it, as I write this dose, it, I do compose,

Not sure, if, he is lying like a frog? have the bone, between his

Paws? his toes?

That he often does with bones or his carrots, treats, favorite snack,

I got two in a pack,

He is having one now, and then, the other, at a later date

And as said, 6 years ago, was given Dougie, from the Garden State,

New Jersey, From the Seeing Eye,

Can't believe, 6 years have gone by,

He still behaves much like a puppy, which is a very good thing,

And very glad, KDD's again, I to you all, I can bring.

Most of last week that was not the case,

And remember, life, each day, we all need to pace

Don't live for Tomorrow, rather for today,

And had to stop working on this. now, I am in the Café,,

Had a phone call a couple hours earlier, and was helping a friend,

So, I am getting this to you later, but, it, I still send.

My weekend is coming to a close

And later in the show, we will play a song, about, eyes, ears, hands and a
nose,

Friday night, I did unwind and relax by listening to you Jeff, and the
desert skies,

We did not hear, Fleetwood Mac's, "little lies",

But, a lot of good stuff

Jeff, played a triple play for me, because, he knew my week had been
rough,

He began his show, with Take this Job and shove it" and then, played
bang on that drum and then next the track, 5 o'clock somewhere, version by
Jimmy Buffett and Alan Jackson,

All who hung out, were having fun,

Jeff, was having technical difficulties, his computer and hands wouldn't
cooperate, though,most of the time, these tools we can all depend,

We had just heard Jorgan sung a Prince song , " Kiss" ,He was testing
by sending sound effects, and blew me a kiss on the air, it was crazy
alright,

Jeff was only joking of course, and Darrell pretended to be mad, and
acted like he wanted to fight,

But, all we all could do was laugh,nothing strange ,just close friends
having fun,

And can't believe our show is already two-thirds done.

He played party tunes and songs about social issues in our Society,

More of this, should be played on ACB,

Cyndi, a close friend of Darrell's, has become a regular listener of both
shows; the desert Skies and Desert Café,

Her Daughter Alyssa is doing a project for school,

So, we found tracks that were relevant, had good lyrics and were cool!

This weekend did not do much, needed to chill,

My week at work, was stressful, had my fill,

Definitely indeed,

Yet, unfortunately, I could not really write about it, and nothing you had
to read.

For 4 days, sorry about that,I know my Doses you miss and now, do
expect to read each day,

And right now we are playing Gloria Esteffon, " always tomorrow just
heard the song "unwritten,

Did not play," "once Bitten,

Twice Shy,

You never know, what one will hear on ACB R I.

For example that Kiss, that jeff, jokingly gave me

And then, in return, I sent him one today,

Over the airwaves, on our show,

And 30 more minutes, and it will be time to go.

We began our sho, with the Beatles " Rock and Roll " a 50's flavor, flair,
Did not play Elvis, "my Teddybear

Or " blue suede shoes,

And today, sorry, no Top Headlines,News,

Haven't wrote about any of that,in quite awhile,

Just want to stay upbeat and positive and tell you what is happening for
me, us; make you all smile.

The third song, we had , was " kiss on my List" by Hall and Oats and to
you jeff, it, I did dedicate,

And noone did meditate,

Or doing Yoga or Ballet

, and at this moment,The group,Bread "" if" we do play,

and was the last track, that ends are show and we are no longer "live"

and Jeff, and everyone, knows we were kidding, , we do jive,

Everything is fine, we all are great friends, things are alright.

We played don't worry be happy,

And don't think, we played anything really sappy?

As said, we mostly played, songs about social issues such as " People
are people"," Imagine", and Enrico Inglesis's" Hero" and songs about, the
environment, war, greed and race,

If you were therein the Café, hope it was not a waste?

That you enjoyed it all?

We did not play, anything from Pink Floyd's," The Wall"

Yet, stuff from Billy Joel, the Doobie Brother's, and some R & B,

And this KDd,is pages 3.

As I mentioned, this weekend my Sister's Tara and Mary Beth, I did
chat, I have no brother's,only Sister's two,

And how, the weekend flew,

Each one, we talked a long time,

Thank Goodness, we have an Voice over IP line,

And free is our long distance so,no biggie, chatting for 2 or 3 hours on
the line.

And, that is what we did that is how long, each conversation did last,

We discussed how things were in the present and chatted about the past,

And about issues, going on, among family members, decisions chosen and
things said and done,

Honestly, much of it, was not at all fun.

However, family and friends, when they need you, like to listen and
be there, for each other, it was definitely interesting Dialogue,

And unfortunately, can't go into more detail, can't be blogged.

All of this saddens me, wish all could get along, Life is way too
precious, too short,

And, for the next 4 days, will be working, at the Hotel, at the Resort,

None-the-less, you all can relate,identify, have your own issues with
famly and so know, you understand,

No matter, where you live, in this world, either locally, thousand of miles
away, or across the land,

It happens everywhere,

And I expressed as much as I can share,

With you all on this site,

And need to go soon, its now 7 o'clock at night,

And tomorrow, back to work I go,

And I don't exactly know,

When, A KDd, I will next write,

I will do my best, to send one to you, each night,

Because, I no longer can send e-mail and things and make phone calls
during the day,

Sorry to say,

So, will create one when I can,not like Emma Bombbeck, Dear Abby or Ann
Landers

And I don't like fried Chicken from Kernel Sanders,
