Last KDD for today: Michelle and Visit with Family

Its still Sunday, October 14, at 5; 26,

Listening to the Blend, a music mix,

On Our XM Radio,

And good, the visit with Family did go.

They, were not here long,

And, nothing, did go wrong,

We mostly had small talk,

And Darrell's Niece Wendy and I went for a walk,

Had a chance to get to know each other a little more,

Showed up before 4,

And we sat around the living room catching up, finding out what is new,

As well as asking, what the doctor's can do,

For Michelle,

And she did tell,

Wednesday she will begin Chemo,

For how long, she doesn't know

Taking meds for pain, the cancer is in her back and her chest,

Taking it easy, getting much rest.

We know she is scared and is quite courageous, if you ask me,

Not sure, if I could be?

Perhaps I would? You do what you have to do, right?

Here, I am again, this, I do write,

And, it's now Sunday night.

Four of the family Members did come, Michelle her husband Don and her kids,
two of the three,

Frank, Wendy, Darrell and me.

Don is being great, not working as much and doing everything around the
house,

And Frank's Spouse,

Angela is a teacher and he, in the Military, is an Analyst, would love to be
a cop,

And Wendy, went from working as a beautician in a shop,

To working in a Hospital and going to school too,

But, being a Vet is what she really would like to do.

Wendy's, significant other Mark not sure, what he does for a living,

Dougie, kisses, he was giving,

He was sitting on mine and her lap

And, they, had water from the tap,

Usually, we are a great host, have stuff to nosh on , drink or we go out
and dine,

Yet, found out at the last minute, didn't have time,

And noone, made it a priority, to really get together,

And nice, was the weather

And though, it was brief, glad, we had the time together.

Darrell's mom isn't really doing well, these days, is getting old,

That is what we are told,

And can see for ourselves, she is not taking her meds,

And mood is affected, from what Michelle, said.

So, we are not the only ones, from what they did say,

Who got an earful yesterday?

Yet, we made the best of the situation because, Michelle is sick,

And before they got here, we listened to Rick.

Michelle apologized for yesterday, for mom not communicating and for Don;
he was near our apartment,

Could have picked us up and time with them could have been spent,

With them all, but mom did not call,

Told her it was really okay,

We were all pleasant, civil and new, they would soon have to be on their
way.

Frank and Wendy had to catch a flight

Around 7; 30 tonight,

Longer, they could have stayed, would have liked it,

You know,

And, Tucson, we would have been able to go,

, could have gone,

And tomorrow morning, up before dawn,

Jeff, hope yours and Keri's Anniversary tomorrow,is great,
