Today's KDd: America's Birthday Celebration and ACB's Presentations

Its Wednesday July 4 th at 9; 42,

How are you?

On this Independence Day?

America's 231 st Birthday?

I am like Tom Clancy, Don't get a Headache if I don't write, but, my
thoughts, I do need to convey,

Every day,

If the creativity is flowing, I need to write,

Can't Always wait, until late at night.

We are listening to the ACB Convention Coverage on Mainstream and enjoying
it very much, Presentations today, are great

And on this Holiday, we are not going to Celebrate,

The Traditional way,

With picnics and viewing a Fireworks display, not at all,

Though, will appreciate our Freedom, life, liberty and pursuit of happiness
for all,

Relax, and get some rest Friends, we may call?

Will view convention and housework to do,

How about you?

First we heard Frank Kurt-Silke from NLS, National Library Service,

This you hopefully, did not miss,

Provided a Financial Report and a forecast of what is ahead,

For the Library, and recommended a book he had red.

He explained how to become a member and receive the Digital books and
mentioned that the first book was recorded 73 years ago,

That fact, did you know?.

Just heard, listeners right now, 118,

Isn't that great?

I think?

He also disclosed a fact, that the average book is 122 MB,

And, continued to talk about the plans, the future for those of us who can
not see

Mr. Kurt-Silke received an Award, all, were surprised, noone was expecting
this, from what, we could tell,

And suggested was a Novel,

Titled the Flounder", said, it would change our life, would not be the
same person, after reading , by the end of this presentation, it was noon,

Then, next was a Gentleman named Charlie Boon,

Excellent Speaker, and works in Radio,

Began over 38 years ago,

He seems down to earth and very interesting indeed

He too, recommended a book to read,

Called " Sense of the World ", a Biographical book, about James Holmen,

Known as the " blind Traveler ", born way back when,

Ten years later, after the Declaration of Independence, in 1786,

From reading the Introduction, seems like a good pick.

Now, Jonathon Mosen is speaking From FS ,not listening to him, what he
has to say,

Would rather, write a dose of the day.

Last night, we were entertained by the acts, it was Talent night, heard
it online,

Most, were very good, more then fine,

Organized by the Friends and Arts Showcase,

This Event, is definitely, not a waste,

There were a few, that were superb, marvelous, a delight

I believe, a couple acts, were the best, last night,

At least, I think, in my mind,

Feels like, this could be American Idol for the blind?

Some, are that Good, like, Kelly Clarkson

Could tell, all who had perform had fun.

Darrell and I especially liked a woman named Peggy Martinez, she sung,

We loved her style, of Cheryl Crow's "Make you Happy: is what she brung ,

She sung it enthusiastically,

Though, it was a good show, not as much so, from what we have heard on ACB

In years past,

A little over two hours, it did last.,

Its now 10;31,

And don't have really anything else to say, so, guess, this is done,

However, likely, more I will write,

Before the end of the night,

For now, you all take care, take time to appreciate all that you have, in
this Wonderful Country of hours,

And on this day off, spend some hours,

With your friends and Family,

Not just ACB,

If you can, if you desire,

And don't play with fire,

Have a Safe and Happy Holiday,

Have a great day.
